Minimum eligibility criteria for SMAT 2026 have been mentioned below:
- Bachelor of Sports Management: Candidate must have completed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 40% in all subjects.
- Bachelor of Sports Science: Candidate must have scored 40% in Class 12 (Science) or equivalent.
- Master of Sports Management: Aspirants must have successfully completed his/ her graduation in any field with 40% in all subjects.
- Master of Sports Science: Graduation with a minimum score of 40% in Life Science, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, any allied paramedical fields, BPED and MPED degrees, or a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science.
- Post Graduate Program in Sports Management: Graduation in any field with 40% in all subjects.

If you have not studied Maths in class 12, you need not worry about it. SMAT has very basic level of questions from Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Mensuration. You can revise these topics to prepare for the exam and that'll be enough.
