SMAT 2026 application process is underway for January exam. Candidates can register for Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT) for admission to UG anf PG management courses by filling an online application form available at the university website. Last date of SMAPT 2026 registration is January 20 and the exam will be conducted on January 25, 2026.
Candidates who have appeared for MAH-CET 2026-MBA/MMS and have obtained 55 percentile (Open category) and 45 percentile (Reserved Category) can seek admission to IISM without appearing in SMAT. To be eligible for the UG programme of the IISM SMAT candidates should secure 40 per cent in the Class 12 exam (UG courses) and Graduation (PG courses).

Candidates have to ollow the below-mentioned steps to successfully register and apply for the Sports Management Admission Test 2026:

SMAT Application Fee 2026
Once all the details have been filled in and documents have been uploaded in SMAT 2026 application form, the candidate have to pay INR 1,800 as application fee.

Commonly asked questions
Candidates cannot appear for multiple SMAT sessions with single registration. The exam is conducted phase wise so does the registration. If one wishes to appear for the exam more than one time then they will have to register for the session specific exam. The SMAT registration fee is INR 1800.
Yes, SMAT is a mandatory entrance test. Master of Sports Management, PGP in Sports and Wellness Management & PGP in Sports Event Management aspirants can apply with their MAH-CET scores. Such candidates will not have to appear for SMAT.
