Jharkhand Paramedical entrance exam 2025 is now over. The officials organized the exam between 10:00 and 12:30 in offline mode at all exam centers in Ranchi. As per the students who gave the exam, it can be described as Moderate to Easy level. 150 questions were asked from all three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Jharkhand Paramedical Entrance Exam 2025 Question Paper Analysis

The entrance examination of the Jharkhand Paramedical was planned to test the knowledge of the candidates at both matriculation and intermediate levels, based on the course applied. The examination took place in the offline mode, with objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in English as well as Hindi. Given below is the detailed analysis of the question paper for both levels.
The intermediate-level exam for Pharmacy and Para Medical courses consisted of 150 questions, divided equally among Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics (PCM group) or Biology (PCB group), with 50 questions per subject. Each correct answer carried 1 mark, while 0.25 marks were deducted for incorrect responses, emphasizing the need for accuracy.
Physics: The Physics part was moderately difficult, with emphasis on Class 11 and 12 NCERT syllabuses. Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Optics, and Thermodynamics were the topics that dominated, with both formula-based and conceptual questions. Current Electricity and Electromagnetic Induction questions were found to be very tricky, with a strong application understanding required.

Chemistry: There were an equal number of questions in the Chemistry section from both Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. There were more theoretical and fewer practical questions in the exam.  

Mathematics/Biology: Mathematics, for PCM candidates, covered subjects such as Algebra, Calculus, and Coordinate Geometry that were moderately to highly complex owing to the time-consuming calculations. PCB candidates encountered Biology questions related to Human Physiology, Genetics, and Ecology that were fairly easy but needed accurate knowledge.

The JCECEB normally publishes the official PMECE 2025 answer key after a few days of the exam on its official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Applicants can download it by following these steps:

Jharkhand Paramedical Entrance Exam 2025 Expected Cutoffs and Results

Jharkhand Paramedical 2025 cutoffs will be based on exam toughness, number of candidates, and seats available. Based on past experience, intermediate-level cutoff marks for general category candidates are generally between 90 and 110 marks out of 150, and matriculation-level cutoff marks are around 80 and 100 marks. The JCECEB has not announced any official date of the release of the results. The results will be declared online on the JCECEB website by the authorities, followed by a merit-based counselling process for seat allotment.
