MET 2026 application form is now available online at manipal.edu. Students can now register for MET 2026 using their basic details. To participate in entrance exam and admission process, the students will have to fill out and submit MET application form 2026 before final date, i.e., March 15, 2026. Before registration, they are advised to check official eligibility criteria. During MET application form filling process, students will have to provide their personal, academic and contact information.

Preferred MET 2026 exam centres also have to be selected in order of preference. MET 2026 application fee has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Steps to fill MET 2026 application form?

MET 2026 application form is available online. Students can follow steps given below to register for exam.

  • Go to manipal.edu
  • Students have to register with email address and phone number.
  • After registration, students have to fill application form with required details. All provided details have to be correct.
  • Students have to choose their course and programme. Selection has to be done in order of preference. They will also have to submit their preferred exam centres.
  • Students will have to check their submitted details. If there are any mistakes, they will have to correct them.
  • They will have to pay application fee through net banking or credit card or debit card. Offline payments will not be accepted.
  • Photograph and signature of student have to be scanned and uploaded. All documents should be uploaded correctly.

Mode of MET application fee payment is online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/mobile payment/PayTM/UPI. The authorities will not accept any other mode of payment. In case the candidates are unable to make their payment before the final date, they are not allowed to attempt the exam.

All candidates will have to book their slots as per their preference and slot availability. It is important to book slots according to preferences. After booking their slots, MET 2026 hall ticket will be available for download.

Through hall ticket, candidates will be able to know their allotted exam centre, date, timings, guidelines and more. While reporting to exam center, they will have to bring their admit card along with an original valid ID proof. For every phase of exam, separate slot booking and hall ticket will be released. If candidates forget to book their slots, it will be automatically allotted.

For admissions into BTech courses offered by Manipal University, admissions will be done based on only MET scores. No other scores will be accepted for admission.

Q:   How many papers are there in MET?

MET exam will consist of one paper. However, there are four sections in the paper. Candidates will have to attempt questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

Q:   What is the total score in MET?
A: 

As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.

Q:   What is the overall difficulty level of MET?

Overall, MET is of moderate difficulty. Candidates who are prepared for board exams will be able to simultaneously prepare for MET. In comparison to national level exams such as JEE Main, MET is considered easier.
