MET 2026: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has announced MET 2026 seat allotment result for Round 3. Candidates can now log in at counseling.manipal.edu to check their MET 2026 Round 3 seat allotment status. Allotment of seats has been done based on candidates' rank as per MET result and submitted preferences. 

MET 2026 Latest Updates:

  • MET 2026 cutoff for Round 3 has also been released. Candidates can check MET OR CR through official cutoff.
  • Selected candidates will have to pay instalment fees before final date to confirm admission. If both instalment fees are not paid, they will be ineligible for admission.
  • MET 2026 counselling for Round 4 is expected to be held if there are vacant seats.

What is MET Exam?

Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is a national level private engineering entrance exam held for admissions into BTech courses offered by participating campuses: Manipal, Jaipur, Sikkim and Bengaluru. The exam is held annually in two phases to select eligible candidates for admissions. While the majority of the seats are filled on the basis of MET scores, MAHE also accepts JEE Main scores for some approved seats.

The authorities will prepare the MET merit list to select students for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. The performance of the students will be assessed to prepare the MET merit list. Separate merit lists will be prepared for different categories.

MET 2026 exam date has been released. Phase 2 was conducted on May 23 and 24. The authorities conducted Phase 1 on April 13 and 14.

Through MET 2026 counselling, eligible candidates are selected for admission into the participating campuses. MAHE has released MET 2026 rank card for Phase 2 at manipal.edu. MET 2026 ranks are prepared by giving equal weightage to MET scores and 12th standard qualifying marks. MET 2026 admit card was released online for Phase 2 exam. Candidates were able to download MET hall ticket 2026 through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) portal.
