The Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) is in the final phase of conducting interviews for the ISDI Challenge 2025 for Cycle 2. The interview round, which began on March 20, 2025, will conclude on April 20, 2025, leaving just two days for remaining candidates to complete their evaluation.

The ISDI Challenge focuses on assessing applicants through a combination of interviews and portfolio reviews, aiming to understand their creative potential, critical thinking, and passion for design. The Cycle 2 results will be announced on April 25, 2025. Candidates are advised to stay connected through the official ISDI website for further updates regarding their application status.

Q:   When will the NID DAT 2026 Prelims exam be conducted?
A:

The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the DAT Prelims exam on December 21, 2025.

The B.Des exam will be held around 10 am - 1 pm; meanwhile, the M.Des exam will be held around 10 am - 12.30 am. The candidate needs to report for the exam at 8 am. Gates' closing time is 9.30 am. 

The DAT Prelims for the B.Des programme will be conducted in a paper-and-pencil/pen mode. The question paper may include both textual and visual questions. Other details like duration of the exam, marking scheme, etc., will be published in the DAT Prelims admit card.

Q:   When do I need to start my preparation for NIFT 2026 exam?
A:

The NIFT exam is among the competitive and is also considered among the toughest. So, it is recommended that the candidate starts their exam preparation early. NIFT exam has various components like written exam and Situation Test /Personal Interview. Candidates seeking admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses need to prepare for both the CAT and GAT. The CAT is a drawing-based exam. Now unless the candidate is already well-versed, the exam will be very difficult. So, start early. The same goes for the GAT.
