IIT Madras has opened admissions for various Olympiad achievers. For this, IIT Madras has reserved 34 Supernumerary Seats under the 'Science Olympiad Excellence' Category from 2025-26.

The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech and PhD courses has concluded. Results are scheduled for release on Mar 19, 2026.

The JEE Advanced 2026 application form is expected to be released in April 2026, and the examination will be conducted on May 17, 2026.
The JEE Main 2026 registrations for session 2 started for IIT Madras admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The last date to register for the same is Feb 25, 2026. Further, the session 2 exams will be conducted from Apr 2 to Apr 9, 2026.
The IIT JAM 2026 exam is now over for admission to the MSc course, with the results expected to be announced on Mar 20, 2026.
