Candidates registered for the phase 1 of the SRMJEEE 2025 exam and who have been issued the admit card will sit for the SRMJEEE remote proctored test starting tomorrow. There are very specific guidelines and instructions to appear in the SRMJEEE 2025 remote proctored online mode (RPOM) examinations. SRMIST Releases Instructional Video for SRMJEEE 2025 Remote Proctored Test; Watch Here

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has released a video guide explaining the process of taking the SRMJEEE 2025 online remote proctored test. Candidates will be able to take the test from the comfort of their homes on their laptops/desktops only and not on any phone or tablet. The exam is scheduled to take place on April 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27. There will be two shifts of the exam on each day. Shift 1 will run from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and shift 2 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. To give candidates a real feel of the exam, SRMIST is conducting SRMJEEE mock tests until April 21.

SRMJEEE 2025 Remote Proctored Test Requirements

Candidates need the following to be able to take the SRMJEEE remote proctored exam:

  • Laptop with a functional camera and microphone. 
  • Intel i3 (4TH Gen) equivalent CPU or above
  • 4 GB RAM or above 
  • Internet Speed – Minimum 1MBPS  
  • 2 GB free hard disk space 
  • Windows 8 or above/Mac 10.14 Mojave and above
  • Webcam

Candidates must check the video and follow the instructions provided on the screen to understand the requirements of the SRMJEEE exam.

To start the exam, candidates have to download the application from the official website of SRMIST. The application must be downloaded and installed on the system on which the candidate intends to take the exam. The application will run automatically, and then candidates may proceed to login.  If the application does not run automatically, candidates will find the application icon on the desktop.

To log in, candidates have to enter their username and password. Thereafter, they have to take a picture of themselves and their ID. The next candidates can proceed to read the instructions and start the exam.
