How to decide between SRMJEEE and VITEEE?

By referring to the above table, students might have got an idea on the differentiation between the two. So if the priority is higher-ranking institutions, stronger and more consistent placements, VITEEE is an excellent choice (especially in computer science). It also provides opportunities for international collaboration and exposure.

However, if students prefer a slightly less competitive and stressful exam process with multiple attempts SRMJEEE is a good option to consider as it also provides a vibrant campus culture, and broader campus location options.

Although before taking a final call amongst the two, it is mandatory to ensure the college on the following parameters.

  • Which college is the smoothest application process.
  • Which college has the best rankings?
  • Which college is near by location, does it have good hostel facilities and faculty members?
  • Does it recognise the alumni and what are the extra curricular activities such as research program, R&D department, student exchange programs, hackathon, conclaves etc.

Bottom line

Both exams lead to reputable universities, but the "edge" is not universal and depends on the student's individual preferences and risk tolerance. It is advised for students to apply for both exams to maximize their options, and to carefully research the specific branch and campus that interests them most.
