NEET MDS Counselling 2024 Round 2 Institute Reporting Ends Today

The NEET MDS counselling Round 2 institute reporting process is concluding today, August 7, 2024. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round must report to the allotted institutes within the given timeframe by today.

The institute reporting process for NEET MDS counselling 2024 Round 2 had started on August 1, 2024. Before going for the institute reporting, candidates are advised to download the seat allotment order by logging in to the MCC website with the registration credentials.

Documents Required for NEET MDS Counselling 2024 Institute Reporting

Candidates have to carry the following documents for institute reporting of the NEET MDS counselling 2024 Round 2.

  • Provisional allotment letter (to be downloaded from the MCC website)
  • NEET MDS 2024 scorecard
  • NEET MDS 2024 admit card
  • Past academic certificates of BDS
  • Medical registration certificate
  • Date of birth certificate
  • ID proof such as PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, etc.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable).

There were a total of 1,040 vacant seats in the NEET MDS counselling 2024 Round 2. The seat allotment result was declared on July 31, as per the schedule.  As many as 402 candidates were allotted fresh seats in this round. On the other hand, 112 candidates’ seats have been upgraded. A total of 516 candidates did not opt for seat upgradation and 203 candidates did not fill up fresh choices. Total 40 candidates surrendered their seats through the seat resignation process.

MCC reopened the Round 1 seat resignation process till August 3 for candidates whose seats were not upgraded in Round 2.

Q: Β  How many choices can I fill during NEET MDS counselling?
A:

There is no limit on the number of choices that a candidate can fill during the counselling of NEET MDS. These choices, however, should be in the order of preference as desired by the candidate. It must be noted choices have to be locked in the given deadline other it gets automatically locked. Candidates are advised to fill choices carefully as it can't be modified once the timeframe ends. Seats will be allotted based on choice declared by candidates and other factors. Total four rounds of NEET MDS counselling is held for allotment of 50% All India quota seats.

Q: Β  What will be the venue for NEET MDS 2025 counselling?
A:

NEET MDS counselling 2025 is being conducted online. Candidates participating in the counselling of NEET MDS 2025 have to register on the official website of MCC to attend it. Candidates qualifying for NEET MDS 2025 with the minimum cut off is one of the eligibility criteria to participate in the counselling rounds. The counselling process for NEET MDS 2025 began on June 24, 2025, and will be conducted till September 8, 2025. Registered candidates can exercise choices for college and course for NEET MDS 2025 seat allotment. MCC will release the seat allotment result based on choices declared, availability of seats in college and course, reservation factor, etc.

 

Q: Β  What documents are needed during reporting for NEET MDS counselling?
A:

Candidates need to report to the allotted college/institute for document verification. They have to carry the following documents in original forms along with photocopies:

  • NEET MDS result or scorecard
  • NEET MDS Admit Card 
  • BDS degree certificate
  • BDS marksheets
  • Internship Completion Certificate (stating that the candidate has completed his/ her internship on or before June 30, 2024)
  • Registration Certificate from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or the State Dental Council (SDC) 
  • Birth Certificate or Class 10 marksheet
  • Photo ID proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ Passport)
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable)
  • Disability Certificate issued by the medical board (if applicable)
