Shakti Dubey from Prayagraj has secured All India Rank 1 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024, emerging as the national topper. UPSC released the IAS results today online at upsc.gov.in.

UPSC CSE 2024 Topper: This year, Shakti Dubey has emerged as the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 topper, securing All India Rank 1. She cleared the UPSC CSE 2025 with Political Science and International Relations as her optional subject. A native of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, she completed both her schooling and graduation in her hometown.

In a mock interview video on YouTube, Shakti shared that she has been preparing for the UPSC CSE since 2018. Shakti's seven-year preparation journey is a testament to her unwavering perseverance and steadfast commitment to long-term goals.

From Allahabad to Varanasi: Tracing Her Academic Journey

Hailing from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Shakti Dubey pursued her early education and academic foundation within her home state. She completed her schooling in Prayagraj and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from the University of Allahabad.

Demonstrating a strong inclination towards the sciences, she furthered her academic journey by enrolling at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, where she completed her postgraduation in Biochemistry. Her educational path reflects a deep-rooted commitment to academic excellence.

Shakti Dubey on What Drew Her to the Civil Services

With an academic background in Biochemistry, Shakti Dubey’s inspiration to join the civil services derived from her family environment. Her father serves in the police force, and witnessing his dedication left a lasting impression on her. It was this realisation that drew her towards a career in government service.
