UPSC main (written) result 2022 was released online on December 6. The Commission released the roll number of the qualified candidates eligible to appear in the UPSC personality test. The Commission will conduct the UPSC interviews in January/February 2023 at Dholpur House in New Delhi. 

After the face-to-face interviews, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the result for the UPSC 2022 exam tentatively in March 2023. The candidates who passed in the final result will be recommended by the Commission for appointment purposes. The Commission selected 2,485 candidates for the personality test. The Commission released the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates in two distinct PDFs released separately.

UPSC Result 2022

UPSC result 2022-23 is expected in March 2023. The Commission will release the UPSC merit list mentioning the names and roll numbers of the qualified candidates. These candidates will then be recommended to the Ministry of Personnel for further formalities. The Ministry of External Affairs will be the first to select the candidates for Indian Foreign Services (IFS). After that other ministries will get the chance.

UPSC prelims result 2022 was released online on June 22. UPSC prelims 2022 exam was conducted on June 5 across the nation in offline mode. This is the first time when the result is released in such a short span of time. The candidates who scored higher or equal to the UPSC prelims cutoff were declared qualified for the main exam.

UPSC Result 2021

The Commission released the final UPSC result 2021 on May 30. Shruti Sharma from Bijnore, Uttar Pradesh topped the most coveted Civil Service Exam 2021. Ankita Agarwal stood second in the exam. Gamini Singla, a computer engineer from Punjab Engineering College, achieved the third rank in the UPSC result 2021 toppers list. UPSC mentioned that against 749 vacancies, it had selected 685 candidates. UPSC released the result within three days of the completion of the personality test. UPSC released the ranks, names and roll numbers of the selected candidates. The marks of the selected candidates will be released later. UPSC also maintained a reserve list of 126 candidates

UPSC result is released for each stage of the exam to promote the qualified candidates to the next level. Union Public Service Commission issues the result in online mode only. UPSC result mentions the roll number of the candidates in the pdf file and the candidates need to search their roll numbers on the official UPSC result pdf. Besides the qualified candidates, the UPSC result pdf also mentions the number of candidates selected in each category and the number of candidates in the reserve list of the exam.

The UPSC also mention the roll numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates separately so they can submit the requisite certificate and get clearance from the UPSC. The recent IAS result mentioned the name of IAS topper Pradeep Kumar as provisionally qualified.

UPSC Result Dates

The UPSC conducts the exam across the year and the results are also declared once the exams are over. The UPSC result is followed by the UPSC scorecard of the candidate. The final result is declared within fifteen days of the last interview conducted in the UPSC office.

UPSC CAPF Result 2022-23

The Commission conducted the UPSC CAPF 2022 exam on August 7 and the Commission declared the UPSC CAPF (written) exam result 2022 on September 16. The Commission sent the details of the qualified candidates to the designated exam authority to conduct the Physical examination. The Commission is expected to release the final UPSC CAPF result in April 2023.

IES Result 2022-23

UPSC conducted the Engineering Service Exam 2022 interviews till December 15. It is expected that the IES result 2022 will be released by December 22 because UPSC releases the result of any exam within one week after the completion of the interviews. Recently the UPSC increased the number of vacancies from 327 to 337 (adding 10 more vacancies).

CMS 2022 Result

The Combined Medical Examination (CMS) is a specialised exam conducted to recruit MBBS doctors for positions in the North Delhi Municipal Hospitals and Railway Hospitals. The Commission conduct this exam yearly the number of vacancies are few only. UPSC CMS result 2022 is expected to release soon.

CDS Result 2022

The Combined Defence Service (CDS) exam is conducted twice every year to recruit candidates for the Defence forces. The CDS 2 exam was conducted on September 4 and after the SSB interviews, the final CDS result 2022 will be released.

NDA/NA Result 2022

The Commission has combined the National Defence Academy (NDA)/ Naval Academy (NA) exam with the CDS exam during the COVID-19 pandemic. The candidates can check their roll numbers in the NDA Result 2022 PDF and wait for the SSB call. 

UPSC Civil Service (IAS) Result 2022

The Commission will conduct the IAS interviews in January/February 2022. The Commission is expected to release the result in February/March 2023. The UPSC will release the list of UPSC toppers in the final UPSC merit list. IAS result will mention the roll number and names of the selected candidates.

The final UPSC result is released after the exam process is over. UPSC result is not the last event in the UPSC Exam process because after the UPSC results, the UPSC answer key and cut off is released and after that, the UPSC send the recommended candidates list to the respective ministry and this mark the completion of the UPSC selection process.

The Commission select 200 IPS officers to strengthen the IPS cadre.

A: The candidates should note that there is no minimum marks that can be ascretained for the IAS. The final UPSC merit list is based on the marks secured in the main(written) and personlaity test condcuted at Dholpur House, UPSC. The minimum marks for IAS cannot be asertained as the cutoff for each year differs from year to year.
