House Rent Allowance

The Central government revised the House Rent Allowance provided for the SSC CGL Posts. HRA is provided to employees to meet their house rental needs. The HRA given to candidates varies as per the city in which they are posted and is broadly divided into three categories:

The Central Government revised the HRA given to Central Government Employees on December 30, 2022. The government mentioned that the above HRA rates will stand revised to 27%, 18% and 9% when the DA crosses 25% in the above cities and further revised to 30 %, 20% and 10 % when the DA crosses 50%.
