The West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 (WB TET 2022) online application process is going to be closed on November 3. The online application process for WB TET 2022 has been started on October 14. Interested candidates can apply online for the WB TET 2022 primary teacher (class 1 to 5) till November 3. For candidates who will not fill out the complete application form before closing time, no admit cards will be issued for such candidates. The WB TET 2022 qualified candidates can apply in Govt. Steps to apply for WB TET 2022
The candidates can register for WB TET 2022 by following the steps given below:
- Click on the WB TET 2022 direct registration link on the page
- Fill out the registration form
- Upload scanned pictures of photograph, signature, and thumb impression
- Pay the application fee through internet banking/ debit card/ credit card
- Submit the form and take a printout

Eligibility Criteria for WB TET 2022
The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria to fill out the form for WB TET 2022. The application may cancel for those candidates who are not eligible or who fill wrong information on the WB TET 2022 exam. The eligibility criteria for the WB TET Primary Paper exam for class 1 to 5 is given below:
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50 per cent marks and 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (DEIEd)
Or
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50 per cent marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEIEd)
Or
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50 per cent marks and having a Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Or
- Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DEIEd)
Note: 5 per cent relaxation of marks in Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination 10+2 (ie 45 per cent) will be allowed for the SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PH, Exempted Category, ex-serviceman and DH (Death-in-harness) category candidates.
