AKTU cutoff for the several BTech specialisations is based on UPTAC Counselling conducted by the university for admissions to various affiliated colleges. UPTAC Counselling has been concluded after the Round 4 Seat Allotment results. Of all the specialisations, BTech in Computer Science Engineering has emerged as the most competitive course at the affiliated colleges. AKTU acccepts IPU CET apart from other exams, for admission to BTech courses. The last-round closing ranks for admission were out. To get admission to BTech via IPU CET, the General AI category candidate must have a rank under 151726 for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. For BTech in Information Technology, the rank must be below 154086 among the General AI category. Evidently, it is possible to get admission to for BTech at 150000 rank in IPU CET. 

AKTU is a state-level, public collegiate university. Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), it is a University of National Importance, specially for the UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering and Science. MBA is a two-year course comprising of four semesters. The university offers MBA at campus through the Institute of Engineering & Technology,  UP Institute of Design and Faculty of Management Studies. The university also offers MBA through 70+ affiliated colleges including Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Kashi Institute of Technology, Lloyd Business School, etc. MBA is offered in various specialisations at the PG level. The total tuition fee for MBA at AKTU and affiliated college ranges between INR 70,000 and INR 6.5 Lacs as per an unofficial source.

MBA is one of the top courses of AKTU. AKTU offers MBA at campus through the Institute of Engineering & Technology, UP Institute of Design and Faculty of Management Studies. Students pursuing MBA from AKTU have a chance of getting placed in top companies. The university conducts placement drive every year. As per media reports,  1,531 students were selected in TCS. Since the start of the placement season, a total of 7,000 students are registered in the campus placement drive for the year 2023 at the various affiliated colleges under it. The university has maintained a 90% placement record, offering salary packages ranging from Rs 1 Lacs per annum to as high as Rs 20 Lacs per annum. 

For the year 2022, the AKTU the highest placement was Rs 1.13 crore per annum, offered by Amazon.

AKTU JEE Main Cutoff was released for various BTech and other courses. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks for different categories under the All India and Home State quota. Overall, the most in-demand specialisation was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. The last-round closing rank for BTech in CSE among the General AI category was 30752.6. 

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy course recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India u/s 12 of The Pharmacy Act, securing a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate can apply for the course can apply for AKTU BPharm course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

AKTU provides the B.Tech degree with 41 different specializations

Duration - four years.

• AKTU takes an entrance exam viz. UPSEE for entry in the B.Tech courses.
• AKTU also approves 20% of aspirants based on JEE Main score as per the State Government criteria.

Eligibility norm -

 Candidates should have finished their 12th standard exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 45% marks or more ( 40% score or more SC/ST) from an identified board.

The application fees for JEE Main is

• INR 1,000 for Male unreserved, OBC, EWS category candidates
• INR 800 for Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category candidates
• INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category candidates

The total tuition fee for the B.Tech CSE course is INR 3.40 lakh. Apart from the course fee, students also have to pay one-time, hostel, exam registration feee, etc. Students can visit the official website to know more. 

A total of 50 companies visited the campus AKTU placement 2024 for IET (Institute of Engineering & Technology). Companies such as Sprinklr, Microsoft and Google offered highest package of 53 LPA, 52 LPA and 49.5 LPA.

Application process: The mode of application is online. Candidates must visit the AKTU affiliated college offering admission to B.Ed course for registration.

Selection rounds: Candidates will be shortlisted for B.Ed admission based on IPU CET score. 

Admission confirmation: After completion of the selection rounds, candidates will be called for document verification and counselling. The selected candidates will need to pay fee to confirm their seat.

However, AKTU has reserved 20% of the total sanctioned seats for the candidates with a valid JEE Main score. JEE Main-qualified candidates are exempted from UPSEE and need to register directly for the counselling process.
