What is PTET exam?
PTET or Pre-teacher Education Test is a state-level entrance test. The test is conducted to select eligible students for different 2-year BEd and 4-years integrated BEd teaching courses in Rajasthan.

PTET 2026 Counselling
Rajasthan PTET Counselling is conducted in multiple phases for BEd and integrated courses, BA BEd/ BSc BEd. Eligible ones can participate in admission process. PTET counselling process includes following phases:
- Registration to participate in counselling: Qualified candidates will need to register for counselling within the deadline (will be released by VMOU along with counselling notice).
- Choice Filling/ College Preference: Candidates must enter list of teaching colleges where they wish to get admission.
- Seat Allotment: This process is done based on candidate’s preference, their rank, seat availability, category, and chosen course.
- College Reporting: Candidates, if they are satisfied, must report to college before deadline with all important documents.
- Upward Movement: In case candidates are not satisfied with the college allotted to them, they can apply for upward movement (request a better college). They need to contact the authorities directly to initiate upward movement.
