Vardhman Mahaveer Open University releases the PTET admit card on its examination portal. If you are appearing for the exam, then carrying the hard copy of the hall ticket is compulsory. You won't be allowed to enter the centre without an admission ticket and a valid ID card. You might be required to download two colored printed copies, as one would be submitted at the exam hall. PTET 2026 Counselling
The Rajasthan PTET Counselling is conducted in multiple phases for BEd and integrated courses, BA BEd/ BSc BEd. The eligible ones can participate in the admission process. Let's understand how this procedure works.
Counselling Process Registration
After the release of the official notification, all the qualified candidates can start registering for the counselling process on the official website. The counselling registration wouldn’t be successful without paying the processing fee of INR 5000. Enter all the important details like your roll number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth (DOB) during the form filling.
Choice Filling/ College Preference
The registration round is followed by the PTET choice filling round. Candidates must enter the list of teaching colleges where they wish to get admission. They will be allocated a college based on the availability and rank. They can select, delete, and lock the choices before the last date.
Seat Allotment
In every Rajasthan PTET counselling phase, the candidates are allocated a seat. The seat allocation process is done based on the candidate’s preference, their rank, seat availability, category, and chosen course. After the seat allocation, pay the remaining fee of INR 22,000 if you’re locking the seat.
College Reporting
Candidates, if they are satisfied, their allocated seat must report to the college before the deadline with all the important documents.
Upward Movement
In case candidates are not satisfied with the college allotted to them, they can apply for the upward movement. Fresh seat allotment is done for such candidates.

The PTET college allotment list consists of the names of colleges allotted to candidates who have qualified in the exam. The list is released on the official website of the exam conducting body. Confirm the admission by paying the required fee. To check the PTET college allocation list 2026:

If aspirants are not allowed the college in the first round, they can wait for the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Once aspirants get to know the allotment result, they will have to cross-check all the information such as their name, roll number, and date of birth, and ensure that it is correct. Candidates also get the opportunity to check their college allotment status by sеnding an SMS to 09414022111.
What after the Rajasthan PTET Seat Allotmеnt Result 2026
Students who get allotted to the college will have to follow the steps -
- If you have gotten the seat, then report to the allotted college for the admission process.
- Request for upgradation if you are not satisfied with the college in the next round.
- If candidates are satisfied with the current college, they need to pay the fee and lock their seat. The first step is to fill in the fee, which is INR 22,000 to lock your seat.
- Appear for the document verification process, where they will have to verify all their original documents, such as their Aadhar card, personal photo ID, and educational qualifications, to ensure their authenticity. Please note that do not submit any original documents or hand them over to anyone. Once the DV process is completed, collect all the documents.
- Once the complete seat allotment process is done with, and there are still a few seats remaining, waitlisted candidates may get a chance based on their merit. After the complete process, the classes will commence for 2 years of individual programs or 4 years of integrated programs.

Note:
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Most Backward classes of Rajasthan shall be required to produce a certificate to that effect from a competent authority.
- The Term ‘Wards’ in means only the son, daughter, wife or husband of the Defence personnel. Real sister and real brother may also be treated as wards of Defence personnel, provided they are dependent on the guardian Defence personnel and the candidate’s parents are not alive.
- Divorced woman shall be required to produce a certificate in the form of the decision of the Court to the effect that she has been divorced and an affidavit to the effect that she has not married again, duly attested by Notary.
- For Defence personnel/wards, a certificate issued by the Major of the Unit/Secretary, Soldiers Board as per rules shall be produced, failing which, the benefit under this category will not be granted. BSF, CRPF and other paramilitary force personnel and their wards are not covered under this category.
- For deciding the claim of a person to be a bonafide resident of Rajasthan a Bonafide resident certificate issued by a competent authority will be essential. However, the candidates who have passed their 10th, 12th, and Graduation examinations from Rajasthan and their addresses belong to Rajasthan will be treated as bonafide residents of Rajasthan without producing any certificate.
- In the case of an out of state woman who got married to a bonafide resident of Rajasthan, the place of bonafide residence of her husband may be considered as her bonafide residence in Rajasthan, provided bonafide residence certificate of her husband and marriage certificate obtained from District Magistrate are submitted at the time of online application for PTET 2026.
- Wards of defence personnel and Central Govt. employees, who have/had been posted outside Rajasthan but such defence personnel/Central Government employees who originally belong to Rajasthan may be considered eligible for admission to BEd. course, provided a bonafide residence certificate from a competent authority is submitted at the time of online application for PTET 2026.
- As far as possible, the candidate will be allotted Examination Centre in the district as per the preference/choice filled in his/her online application. No request for change in the Centre will be entertained.
- A candidate, who is in the PH category and cannot perform blackboard teaching is not eligible.
- Any false statement of facts noticed at any stage will automatically result in the cancellation of candidature and admission to the course. If it has already been made, the entire responsibility will lie with the candidate concerned and the fee deposited will not be refunded.
- Candidates of other States will be treated in General Category only. Out of the total number of faculty-wise seats, not exceeding 5% seats will be filled in by the candidates from the other States based on overall merit, irrespective of the State to which the candidate belongs, provided that merit of a candidate from outside Rajasthan is not less than the merit of the last candidate belonging to Rajasthan in general category. Remaining seats, if any, will be available to the candidates who are bonafide residents of Rajasthan.
