RIE CEE 2026: Registration (April), Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Result, Counselling Dates, & News

NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) releases the provisional answer key a few days after the RIE CEE exam. All students who took the Computer-Based Test can check it and raise objections if they find any mistakes. You can download the RIE CEE Answer Key by logging in with your details. If you want to challenge any question or answer, upload proper documents to support your objection for the CEE 2026 exam.

If you don’t send your objections within the given time, you can’t ask for re-checking later during the selection or admission process. After checking all the objections, the exam authority will release the final answer key.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will announce the RIE CEE Result 2026 online through the official result portal. Candidates can check and download their results by logging in with their issued credentials. A direct link to access the result will also be provided on this page.

To check the RIE CEE Result 2026:

• Visit the official exam website or open the direct result link in your browser.
• Enter your Application ID and Password.
• Type the verification code displayed on the screen.
• Click on the ‘Login’ button.
• The RIE CEE Result will appear on your screen, review and download it for future reference.

The RIE CEE 2026 results are expected to be declared in August 2026 for Group A and in September 2026 for Groups B and C, following the July exam. Candidates can check their scorecards and merit lists by logging into the NCERT portal using their Application ID and Date of Birth.

RIE CEE counselling is conducted within a week or two after the result declaration. RIE CEE 2026 counselling help students get a seat in right course after exam. You need to join counselling if you pass the RIE CEE 2026 test. First, check RIE CEE 2026 result on official website. If name come in merit list, then you can go for counselling process. Counselling for RIE CEE 2026 happen online mostly. You must login with roll number and password to see schedule. Fill your choice of college and course carefully. Once locked, it can’t be changed easily.

After you get your seat, download the RIE CEE 2026 counselling letter. It shows the date, time, and place for document checking. Bring all your papers like admit card, mark sheet, ID proof, and photos. If any document is missing, it can cause trouble. If you don’t get a seat in the first round, wait for the next one. RIE CEE 2026 counselling mostly happens in more than one round. Keep visiting the official website for updates and the final list. Don’t trust fake news or random sites. Documents Required for the RIE CEE Counselling

Listed below are the important documents. 

• Printout of the Application form and Score card/ result sheet of CEE 2026
• Original Marks cards of Class X and XII classes
• Domicile Certificate / Residential Certificate C
• Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority from the Domicile State (in case of SC/ST students).
• ОВС Сertificate (Non-Creamy layer) Current Financial Year in the Government of India Format (if applicable)
• EWS Certificate (Current Financial Year) in Government of India Format (if applicable)
• Transfer Certificate
• Conduct Certificate
• Migration Certificate for students from states other than Karnataka state
• PWD Certificate from the Competent Authority (if applicable)
• Parental Income Certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size photograph - 6 no.

The institute may ask the candidate to bring other documents, including documents at the time of counselling.

RIE CEE Exam Reservation Policy

As per the Government of India rules, candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria. The following reservations are available:

• SC 15%
• ST 7.5%
• OBC 27%
• PwD 5%
• EWS 10%.

Candidates applying under the reservation quota will be considered only based on the lists notified by the Government of India and the category certificate/ PwD certificate in the format approved by the Government of India and issued by the competent authority. OBC candidates will have to attach a certificate from a competent authority stating that he/she does not belong to the Creamy Layer.

• The reservation for EWS will be as per the Government of India norms.
• For the reservation of Hyderabad-Karnataka under the Karnataka reservation quota, data will be captured and provided to RIE, Mysuru for processing at their end.
• RIEs will provide one seat for each course BSc BEd, and BA BEd. (RIE, Mysuru will also provide one seat for each programme of MScEd. i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) And RIE, Bhopal will also provide one seat in BEd-MEd. over and above of their regular quota for NTSE awardees and Tibetan candidates. However, candidates from this category need to appear in the CEE 2026.

RIE CEE 2026 Courses

RIE, Ajmer: BEd and MEd

Only the students from the states/UTs of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Chandigarh are eligible.

RIE, Bhubaneswar: BA BEd, BSc BEd (PCM and CBZ Group), BEd and MEd

Only the candidates from the states/UT of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Tripura, West Bengal, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands are eligible.

For the BEd Programme at RIE Bhubaneswar

Only from the states/UT of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are eligible.

RIE, Bhopal: BEd, BEd-MEd, and MEd

Only from the states/UTs of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli are eligible. For the BEd-MEd course, the candidates from all states and UTs are eligible

RIE, Mysuru: BA BEd, BSc BEd (PCM and CBZ Group), MScEd. (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics), BEd, and MEd

• Only from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and the UTs of Puducherry and Lakshadweep are eligible.
• For MScEd. (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) from all States and UTs can apply.

NERIE, Shillong: BEd

For the BEd programme at NERIE, Shillong, only the candidates from the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura are eligible.

RIE, Nellore: MA(Education Technology)

For the MA (Education Technology) programme, the candidates from all states and UTs are eligible.

SIASTE, Haryana: BA BEd and BSc BEd

For BA BEd, BSc BEd programmes, the candidates from all states and UTs can apply.
