Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released SSC JE 2019 notification on August 13. Along with the notification, the examination authority has also release SSC JE application form 2019. SSC JE exam dates for Paper I and II are yet to be announced by the commission. Candidates who are between 18-32 years and have completed graduation or diploma in Engineering can apply for SSC JE. The exam comprises two paper – Paper I and II. Selection is done based on candidate’s performance in both the papers.

SSC JE exam is conducted for recruitment of Junior Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) for various central departments/organisations.

How to fill SSC JE Application Form 2019?

The application form of SSC JE consists of two parts:

Part I – One Time Registration

Part II – Filling of application form

Both the parts of SSC JE application form process is explained below in details –

One Time Registration

• Click on ‘Register Now’ button
• To register, candidates need to enter basic details, additional details, contact details, upload photograph, signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI).
• After completion of registration, password and registration number will be generated.
• Candidates can change the password later

Filling online application form

• Candidates need to login with their registered email ID and password
• Click on ‘Apply link’
• The information entered during registration will be auto-filled
• Candidates need to give preference of examination centres
• Select the posts for which candidates wish to apply
• Candidates need to enter their educational qualification
• Before final submission, candidates need to agree to the terms and conditions
• After verifying the details, candidates need to proceed to pay the examination fees
• Fee can be paid both online and offline

Application Fees

SSC JE application fee is Rs 100. Women/SC/ST/PwD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

Pattern of SSC JE Exam

As per SSC JE exam pattern , the exam will consist of two papers – Paper I and II

The Paper I will be Computer Based Examination and Paper II is Descriptive Type

There will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer in Paper I

Marks scored by candidates Paper I will be normalised and merit list and cutoff will be decided based on the normalised marks

Selection Process

On the basis of the performance in Paper I, candidates will be shortlisted for Paper II. Final selection of candidates will be done based on the performance in Paper I and II. The qualifying marks of Paper I and II are given below –
