State Bank of India (SBI) is conducting SBI Clerk 2021 prelims exam putting in place all the COVID-19 precautions. The exam is being conducted across 170 cities in four shifts-09:00 AM-10:00 PM, 11:30 AM-12:30 PM, 02:00 PM-03:00 PM and 04:30 PM-05:30 PM. The overall difficulty of SBI Clerk 2021 prelims exam was easy to moderate. The English section was easy, Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability section were moderate.

According to SBI Clerk exam pattern, the test comprised questions from English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The paper carried total 100 objective type questions. Total marks allotted to the test are 100. Candidates had to complete the paper within one hour, 20 minutes was allotted to each section.

SBI Clerk 2021 Prelims Exam Analysis & Review by Students (July 12)

SBI Clerk 2021 prelims exam held on July 12 was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty. Check below the feedback shared by a student on the difficulty level of the exam.

Bandi Balu Teja, who appeared for the exam from Hyderabad said, "The overall paper was easy to moderate. In English, there were 10 questions from Reading Comprehension, 5 from Sentence Rearrangement, 10 from Error Spotting and 5 from side heading word. In Reasoning, there were 5 questions from Inequalities, 5 from Syllogism, 5 from parallel puzzle, 6 from coding, 1 from meaningful word, 5 from floor/flat puzzles and 3 from BR. In Numerical Ability, there were 10 miscellaneous problems, 5 Caselet, 5 line graph, 10 simplification and 5 wrong number series, etc."

Shiksha reported live from one SBI Clerk exam centres in Dibrugarh (Assam) to gather feedback regarding the difficulty level of the paper. Candidates can check below the feedback shared by the students.

Michael, who appeared for SBI Clerk exam for the first time, said, "The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy. The Data Interpretation questions were easy. In Reasoning, I have attempted three puzzles out of four with 100 per cent accuracy."

Chitra said, "The overall paper was easy in terms of difficulty level compared to last year. All the sections -English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude were easy."

Dimpi Das said, " The overall paper was easy and if one has practiced well, then they can surely score good marks in the exam. The topic of Reading Comprehension was based on humanism and feminism."

Pranab Jyoti Das said, "The paper was easy in terms of difficulty level. In Quant, questions were asked from Simplification, Missing Number Series, Caselet, Data Interpretation. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles, Syllogism, Alphanumeric Series, Inequalities. English was easy and questions were asked from Reading Comprehension, Fill in the Blanks, Sentence Rearrangement, etc.

Arpita Sarkar said, "The overall paper was moderate. English section was easy, Quant section was bit calculative, Reasoning was moderate. In Quant, questions were asked from Simplification, Number Series, Arithmetic, etc. In English, questions were asked from Reading Comprehension, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Rearrangement, Para Jumbles, etc. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles, Syllogism, Alphanumeric Series."

SBI Clerk 2021: COVID-19 Precautions

  • It was mandatory to wear a mask all time at the exam centre
  • Candidates were allowed to carry personal transparent water and hand sanitiser of 50 ml
  • Candidates had to bring a signed health declaration as per the format given in the admit card
  • The temperature of candidates were checked at the entry gate
  • Rough sheets were kept at the desk of each candidate
  • Candidates had to drop the rough sheets in the boxes at the exit of the lab at the designated place

SBI Clerk prelims result 2025 was announced on October 4. The result can be downloaded by logging with the required credentials. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Mains exam.
