State Bank of India (SBI) will soon announce SBI Clerk 2021 prelims result. SBI had conducted SBI Clerk prelims exam for 5454 Junior Associate posts from July 10 to 13, 2021. However, the exam was not conducted for some states including Shillong, Agartala, Aurangabad (Maharashtra) and Nashik Centres, Prelims exam was not conducted.

SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2021 was earlier expected to be announced on July 19. However, the declaration of SBI Clerk result 2021 for the prelims exam was postponed. SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2021-Tie-Breaking Policy

In case two or multiple candidates have scored equal marks, the following tie-breaking policy will be applied:

  • Candidates from the reserved categories such as SC, ST, PH, OBC, etc will be preferred
  • If the tie still persists, candidates with the least number of wrong answers will be preferred
  • Lastly, candidates with the older age will be given a preference

SBI Clerk 2021 Prelims Selection List

SBI Clerk 2021 prelims selection list comprises the registration/roll numbers of candidates who qualifies the prelims exam. Based on SBI Clerk 2021 prelims selection list, candidates are selected for the mains exam. Only those candidates are called for the mains exam whose roll numbers/registration numbers appear on the SBI Clerk selection list.

SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2021: What’s next?

Candidates qualifying the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam. Selection of candidates for the mains exam is done 10 times the number of vacancies. Selected candidates are issued SBI Clerk admit card for appearing in the mains exam. Final selection for SBI Clerk exam is done based on the mains exam subject to the candidates qualifying the local language test. Selected candidates are offered a basic starting SBI Clerk salary of Rs 19,900 (Rs 17,900 with two advance increments given to graduates). Besides they are entitled to provident fund, Pension under New Pension scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), medical, leave-fare and other facilities.
