AFCAT exam analysis

AFCAT (1) exam 2020 is conducted by Indian Air Force (IAF) across more than 100 cities in the country. The exam is conducted in two shifts. The exam was moderate in terms of difficulty level. The General Awareness section was moderate. The Verbal Ability section was easy to moderate. The Numerical Ability section was moderate to difficult. The Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test was moderate.

Shiksha reported live from an AFCAT exam centre in Gazipur where total 199 candidates had appeared in the exam. According to the students, the overall paper was moderate. AFCAT 2020 Student Reaction & Exam Analysis

Vikas said, “The level of GS section of AFCAT exam was hard. Maths, Reasoning and English sections were easy to moderate. According to me, the cut off will be around 150. There were some technical glitches at the beginning of the test for which we had to wait for half an hour. There is no change in the exam pattern.”

Pratusha Sharma, “The level of exam was good. GS and Reasoning sections were tricky. English and Maths were easy. In GS, History questions were more.”

Gopal Kumar said, “The overall difficulty level was average. In Maths, there were 18 questions, out of which 4 to 5 questions were difficult. English was easy, Antonyms were difficult. Reasoning section was easy. GS was difficult.”

Naveen Kumar said, “The difficulty level was medium. English was easiest among all sections. This year, there were less diagram based questions, non-verbal Reasoning questions were also less.”

Mohit said, “The level of exam was medium. Questions on GS were tricky. English, Reasoning and Maths sections were easy and was not tough. The cut off might go high.”

Anand Sharma said, “The paper was moderate. The Reasoning was easier than Maths. There were two to three questions on Current Affairs in GS section.”

AFCAT 1 2026 exam analysis will be released on January 31. This will be provided after the completion of the exam. They can refer to the same to check the level of the exam. They can also know the topics from where questions were asked in the exam.
