RRB NTPC

RRB NTPC 2020 application form status link will be activated by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on September 21. The application status will display either the applications submitted by the candidates have been accepted or rejected. Now, candidates must be wondering whether their RRB NTPC application form 2020 will be accepted or rejected. In this article we have explained the reasons for rejection of RRB NTPC application form.

RRB NTPC 2020 exam will be conducted from December 15 onwards. The complete schedule will be released soon.

RRB NTPC 2020 Application Form: Reasons for Rejection

RRB NTPC application form 2020 of candidates might be rejected on the following grounds.

Invalid photos

The application form might be rejected due to invalid photos such as black and white photos, photos with a cap, or wearing goggles. Photos which are small size, unrecognisable photos, group photo, selfie photo, photo taken by mobile, morphed photo. Application form without scanned photographs will be rejected.

Signature

If the signature of candidates uploaded in RRB NTPC application form is in capital/block letters, it will be rejected.

Educational Qualification

If the candidates do not possess the prescribed educational qualification as on March 21, 2019. The prescribed educational qualification for undergraduate posts was class 12 pass while it was graduation for graduate-level posts.

Date of Birth

The date of birth was entered incorrectly in the application form. The age limit prescribed for undergraduate posts is 18 to 30 years. The age limit prescribed for graduate-level posts is 18 to 33 years.

Multiple applications

RRRs had asked the candidates not to submit multiple applications. If any candidate had submitted multiple applications to different RRBs or to same RRB. In such case, all applications will be rejected and such candidates will be debarred from appearing in RRC/RRC exams in the future.

Debarred candidates

The application forms of candidates whose names appear in the debarred list of any RRB/RRC will be rejected for the RRB NTPC recruitment exam.

Incomplete application

The application forms with incomplete details or incorrect details will be rejected by the examination authority. The application forms need to be complete in all respect.

Irregularities

On the basis of other irregularities observed and considered as invalid by RRBs, the application forms will be rejected.

RRB NTPC exam will be conducted for 1.25 crore applicants. The exam is conducted to select candidates for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) graduate and undergraduate posts in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. A total of 35,208 vacancies will be filled through RRB NTPC 2020 exam. The notification was released in 2019 and the exam was scheduled to be conducted between June and September. However, the process has been delayed due to the non-finalisation of the exam conducting agency and COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The authority will release the RRB NTPC 2026 Graduate posts answer key for CEN No. 06/2025 within a few days after the conduction of an exam. The Graduate posts exam was conducted from March 16 to 27.
