What is the provisional application status?
The provisional application status shows that the application form is accepted but is being scrutinised by the RRBs. The status of the application form is not final and can be rejected after scrutiny.
What is the final application status?
The final application status is not subjected to scrutiny. This means the application form has been checked and accepted/rejected.
RRB NTPC application form status: Reasons for rejection
The reasons the application form of candidates might be rejected are given below:
Invalid Photograph
This is the common factor for which the applications of many candidates get rejected. In the official notification, the examination authority had clearly mentioned the dimensions and instructions for uploading the photograph. Candidates whose photographs are not as per the format in the application form will be rejected.
Incorrect Signature
As per the guidelines, the signature should not be in capital or block letters. In case, the signature is in capital/block letters, the application form has been rejected.
Educational qualification
RRB NTPC application form has been rejected if candidates do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification. The educational qualification is Class 12 or 10+2 for undergraduate posts while it is graduation for graduate posts.
Incorrect date of birth
Over-aged or under-aged or Date of Birth entered incorrectly in the RRB NTPC application form.
Multiple applications
Candidates were supposed to send only one application form. Those who have submitted different applications will be rejected. Official notification states, “Only one application was required to be submitted. Moreover, candidates could apply to only one RRB. Applications to more than one RRB has led to rejection.”
Incomplete applications
The application form should be complete in all respect. If the details entered in the RRB NTPC application form were not complete, it has been rejected.
Candidate's name figuring in the debarred list of any RRB/RRC
RRBs maintains a database of candidates who have been debarred by them for any reason. The application form of such candidates has been rejected.
What if RRB NTPC application form is rejected?
In case the application form is rejected, candidates are able to view their status along with the reasons for rejection. This is final and binding and no further correspondence will be entertained by the examination authority. The refund of the examination fee will be not be made on account of rejection of the application form. Candidates are also sent SMS and email alerts on their registered mobile numbers and email IDs as stated in their application form. Candidates have not been intimated by post.
What after RRB NTPC 2020 Application Form Status?
Candidates whose application forms have been accepted will be issued RRB NTPC Admit Card four days before the scheduled date of CBT. The admit cards will be available on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card by logging with the required credentials.
