SSC CPO Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates can check below SSC CPO exam day guidelines.
- Candidates arriving at the exam centre late are not allowed to appear for the exam
- Bring the printed copy of their SSC CPO admit cards along with one valid photo-identity proof to the exam centre
- Candidates need to affix one photo on the admit card. Candidates need to submit one portion of their SSC CPO admit cards to the invigilator
- Candidates must leave the space for signature and left thumb impression as it needs to be signed infront of the invigilator
- Candidates must not bring books, slide rules, notebooks, pagers, mobile phones, written notes, calculators and other electronic gadgets to the exam centre
- Mobile phones, pagers, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
- Candidates will be provided sheets for rough work. They need to handover the rough sheets to the invigilator after the exam gets over

SSC CPO paper 1 exam will be held in December. The exam is conducted in three stages. All the stages are considered for final selection.
The training is confined to institutions. The duration of training is usually of six to nine months. Candidates selected through SSC CPO exam are appointed to the post of Sub Inspector with either the Delhi Police, the CAPF or as Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2024
SSC CPO Paper 1 exam is conducted in computer-based mode. Questions in the exam are asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. As per SSC CPO exam pattern, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper 1 exam. For the correct answer, candidates score one mark.

SSC CPO notification 2024 was released on March 4, 2024. The notification was released to fill up a total of 4,187 vacancies. A total of 125 vacancies have been announced for SI (Exe) in Delhi Police (Male), 61 for SI (Exe) in Delhi Police (Female) and 4001 SI (GD) in CAPFs.
