NTA released the CUET 2026 result on June 23 at cuet.nta.nic.in. The NTA also released the CUET 2026 Scorecard, notifying the subject-wise marks and percentile. The candidates who scored 500 marks are searching for admission options in the CUET participating universities.
National Testing Agency conducted the Combined University Entrance Test(CUET) 2026 exam from May 11 to June 7. The exam was conducted as a Computer-Based Test(CBT) at the designated exam centres nationwide. There were around 200 participating universities in the CUET 2026, which offered admission to numerous courses through CUET exam.
The NTA conducted the CUET 2026 in 37 subjects. The CUET result and scorecard were released on June 23. The total marks in the CUET depend on the number of subjects opted in the exam.

CUET 2026 Percentile Calculation
The CUET UG 2026 percentile is calculated subject-wise by NTA, not on the total aggregate. Each subject's NTA score is computed separately and then mentioned in the CUET 2026 scorecard. So, when universities prepare merit lists, they consider the subject-wise NTA score but not a combined 500-mark total.
- CUET Raw marks: These are the actual marks obtained by candidates based on correct answers and wrong answers. NTA follows the CUET marking scheme to calculate raw scores.
CUET Percentile = (Number of candidates who scored equal or less than a candidate/Total candidates) × 100
500 marks in CUET UG 2026 are calculated based on the subjects you appeared for, not a single paper. If you appeared for two domain subjects and the General Test (3 papers × 250 = 750 max), scoring 500 puts you at around 66% of the maximum possible score, which is a not so competitive position.
