What is CCMN?
CCMN stands for Centralized Common Counselling for MSc and MSc (Tech) admissions at NITs and CFTIs. The CCMN counselling process is conducted based on IIT JAM scores. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat is conducting the CCMN counselling this year. There are multiple rounds of counselling being conducted to take admission through the JAM score card. The CCMN-2026 counselling is for full-time seats carrying scholarships. It is NOT for students seeking admission to Sponsored Seats or part-time programmes, for which students should contact the respective institutes for the same.
Commonly asked questions
Applicants while filling the CCMN counselling application form, should fill the choice of instititute or programme only those in which they are certainly interested. One must refrain from casual or take-a-chance approach.
Once a seat is allotted, students must follow the due procedure to take admission in the respective institutes.
The document verification will be done by the verifying officers of the participating institutes only in the online mode. In case of a doubt/query regarding the documents, the Document Verifying Officer will raise a query to the candidate, against which, the
candidate can respond through her/his login. This interaction between the Document Verifying Officer and the candidate can occur multiple times till the issue is resolved. The candidate will be compulsorily required to submit her/his clarifications/documents in
response to the queries raised by the Document Verifying Officer in the stipulated time period, failing which (s)he will be treated as Not-Reported, and hence her/his seat will be cancelled and (s)he will not be considered for seat allotment in subsequent rounds.
