- The IIT JAM 2026 application correction window is now open till Nov 13, 2025, for admission to the MSc course. The IIT JAM 2026 exam is scheduled for Feb 15, 2026.
- The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

Honestly giving the feedback and review of hostels in NIT Sikkim. It is not that good but it's okay.
There are two hostels, one for B.Tech boys and one out od campus hostel for 1st year boys. The hostel rules and guidelines are strict. 5 persons stay in one room for boys with common bathrooms and toilets for 8 rooms each.
For girls, the rules and regulations and regulations are much strictly followed as compared to boys. The accommodation is good for girls with 4 persons in a room. But as compared to boys, girls are privileged in NIT Sikkim. Moreover, at NIT Sikkim, you will learn to adopt this scenarios. First of all it will create problem or you might struggle but after that you will become habitual to it and you will have fun.
The seat intake for MTech programme in NIT Sikkim is divided among the specialisation offered by the MTech programme. The Computer Scirnce and Engineering (CSE) intake total seat of 23, M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering intakes 23 seat aswell and M.Tech. in Control, Power and Electric Drives intakes the least of only 8 seats.

Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Sikkim are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. If someone misses the internal exams in NIT Sikkim, there are chances of consideration if the reasons are genuine just like health issues, severe health conditions, death of someone in the house.
