The CUET General Test is moderate in difficulty level. The exam is not very difficult if the candidate is prepared well for the exam. CUET General Test assess candidate's basic aptitude, reasoning and general awareness. The CUET UG mock test is similar to the actual exam pattern. It helps students understand how the real test will be conducted in computer-based mode (CBT). The mock test is divided into the same sections as the prescribed exam pattern:
- Language: Includes reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar-based questions
- Domain Subjects: Subject-specific questions based on the Class 12 NCERT syllabus
- General Aptitude Test: Covers logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge, and current affairs
Each CUET UG mock test paper will have:

Since the CUET UG exam is held for multiple subjects and slots, the difficulty level of the exam varies from subject to subject. Sometimes, the difficulty level may also vary for different slots. While for the well-prepared candidates, the difficulty level will be low, for the underprepared students, the level of difficulty will be on the higher side.
CUET UG 2026 question paper will include four answer options for each question. Candidates must read the questions carefully and mark any one of the options which is correct. Candidates will get negative marking for every wrong answer. Hence, candidates must attempt questions carefully to avoid any negative marking.
