The National Testing Agency releases the CUET question paper PDFs after the exams are over. The CUET question paper 2023 for 33 languages, 27 domain subjects, and a general test is available at nta.ac.in. Students planning to take CUET 2026 can download the CUET previous year paper PDFs without paying any fee. The CUET UG 2026 exam for admission to undergraduate courses will be held between May 11 and May 31, 2026. Unlike CUET conducted in 2023, this year, candidates can select upto five subjects and have to attempt all questions in the test paper. CUET 2023 Question Paper PDF - Domain Subjects
CUET UG question paper for each subject will consist of 50 questions. Candidates will be required to attempt all questions and no optional questions will be provided. In CUET UG 2026 there are 37 subjects- 13 languages, 23 domain subjects and general tests. While filling the CUET application form, candidates can select upto five CUET subjects aligning with the subjects studied in class 12th and course requirement.
Candidates must attempt all the questions of the subjects selected. However, candidates must keep in mind the negative marking and select the options carefully.
As per the CUET UG 2026 exam pattern -
The question paper will include 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted for 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and general test. Each subject will consist of 50 MCQs and there will no optional questions. All questions are mandatory to attempt. For every wrong answer negative marking of one mark will be attracted.

How to Solve CUET UG Question Paper 2023?
Apart from preparing for the Common University Entrance Test from NCERT books and other study materials, students must also practice CUET mock tests and past question papers. Read the space below to get some useful tips to solve CUET 2023 question papers.
- Complete the Syllabus: The first and most important step to CUET UG preparation is to complete the syllabus. With CUET syllabus, students can clear their concepts and have basic understanding of the subject. It is not possible to answer CUET test paper 2023 without covering the syllabus.
- Start with Questions you have confidence in: Always start with easy questions first. It will give you confidence and motivate you to move further. This also increases your chances of scoring better.
- Skip the Questions you are not confident in: If you lack confidence in a question or find it difficult to solve, skip it for now and solve the next question. Getting stuck in one question will be time-consuming, and you might not be able to complete the exam on time.
- Keep negative marking in mind while solving: As there is negative marking in the CUET exam, ensure you select an option only if you have confidence in your answer.
- Use shortcut methods to solve quickly: There are many tricks and shortcut methods in subjects like logical reasoning, mathematics, etc. Use those tricks to solve the question as fast and accurately as possible.
- Manage Time: Even though you are solving the CUET UG question paper 2023 for practice, make sure to solve the paper in the specified exam duration. It will help you manage time effectively on the actual exam day.
- Re-check answer sheet: Once you complete the question paper, go through your answer sheet to ensure you have not missed any questions.
