CTET 2018 admit card is released online on the official website of the national level teacher eligibility test. Authorities inform candidates that they need to download their CTET admit card from the official website of the exam by August 20, 2018.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) admit card is a mandatory document that candidates need to positively carry with them to their allotted test centre. Without a valid CTET 2018 admit card candidates will not be allowed to appear for CTET exam.
In case a candidate notices any discrepancy in his or her CTET admit card regarding details such as the candidate’s details, signature and photograph or if any information mentioned on the admit card does not tally with the confirmation page then aspirants are advised to contact CTET 2018 authorities at the earliest.
On the other hand if the confirmation page is not generated to candidates even after they deposit the required fee amount then such applicants need to contact the Assistant Secretary (Exam), CTET Unit, CBSE between August 30 to September 4, 2018 from 10 am to 5 pm. Candidates need to note that if they contact the CTET Assistant Secretary in this respect then they need to carry a valid proof of fee payment, that is, the applicant’s copy of E-Challan (if the fee was paid through E-Challan) or a copy of the bank statement (if the fee was paid through Credit Card or Debit Card).
How to Download CTET 2018 Admit Card
- Visit official website of CTET 2018 exam
- Click on “Admit Card” tab
- Enter registration number as well as date of birth
- View CTET 2018 hall ticket
- Download and take a clear print of the CTET admit card
On the day of the CTET exam, candidates need to report at their allotted CTET exam centre as per the time as well as exam centre mentioned on their hall ticket for CTET exam. Candidates need to note that they will not be allowed to appear for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) if they are not carrying a valid hall ticket on the day of the exam. Along with the CTET admit card candidates need to carry a valid photo identity card with them to their allotted CTET test centre. Some of the approved photo ID cards that candidates can carry with them to their CTET exam centres are – Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter Identity Card, Passport and Driving License.
On the designated day, candidates need to report at their CTET exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam is scheduled to commence. CTET exam schedule is as listed below.

Candidates who report for CTET 2018 Paper II at 9:30 am would not be allowed to appear for the exam. Similarly, candidates who reach their exam centre at 2 pm to give CTET Paper I would not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the instructions mentioned on their CTET 2018 admit card and follow them religiously during the entire duration of the national level teacher eligibility test.
