CTET Cut-Off 2025: The CBSE CTET exam has no cut-off criterion; candidates only need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks to clear the exam. The CTET cutoff is referred to as the minimum qualifying mark. The CTET qualifying or passing marks 2025 for OBC, SC, and ST are different from the General category. As per the CBSE-fixed qualifying marks, the General category candidates need to obtain a minimum of 60 per cent, and reserved category candidates such as SC/ ST/ OBC need to obtain 55 per cent CTET marks to clear the exam. CTET Qualifying Marks 2025 for General/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD

Candidates who secure equal to or more than the prescribed CTET cut-off are declared pass. General category candidates who obtain 60 per cent aggregate and reserved categories who obtain 55 per cent aggregate are declared CTET qualified. It is solely upon the discretion of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to change the CTET passing marks or cut-off depending on the difficulty level of the paper and the number of candidates appearing in the CTET exam. The CTET 2025 exam comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper carries 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. The CTET qualifying marks are the same for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

CTET Qualifying Marks for Female: Paper 1 & Paper 2

The CTET qualifying marks for females are the same as those of males. Female candidates of the general category need to obtain 60 per cent, that is, 90 out of 150 and female, who belong to the OBC/ SC/ ST category need to obtain 55 per cent, that is, 82 out of 150.
