What is CTET Cut Off?
CTET cut off 2022-23 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to obtain in order to clear the exam. The CBSE does not fix the CTET cut off marks; candidates need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks to pass the exam. As per the CTET qualifying marks 2022 fixed by the CBSE, the General category candidates need to obtain a minimum of 60 per cent marks and reserved category candidates need to obtain 55 per cent marks to clear the exam.
The CTET 2022 exam is conducted for two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper carries 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. Out of the total 150 marks, 90 marks are considered qualifying for the General category and 82 are considered qualifying or CTET cut-off for Reserved categories such as SC/ ST/ OBC.
It is solely upon the discretion of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to change the minimum qualifying marks or CTET cut off depending on the difficulty level of the paper and the number of candidates appearing in the CTET 2022.

The CTET is a national-level examination that determines the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in government schools across India. The exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Once you have qualified the CTET, you can apply for teaching positions in various schools. Registration: Candidates need to register for counseling by filling out an application form and paying the required fee. Document Verification: Candidates need to produce the required documents such as CTET certificate, educational qualifications, age proof, etc. , for verification. Choice Filling: Candidates need to choose the schools or institutes where they want to work based on their preference and availability of vacancies. Seat Allotment: Based on the merit list and availability of vacancies, candidates are allotted seats in the schools or institutes. Reporting: Candidates who are allotted seats need to report to the respective schools or institutes on the specified date and time with all the required documents for further formalities. Central Teacher Eligibility Test and Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Exam are just qualifying in nature, on the other hand, the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers Exam scorecard will be used to make the final merit list of the third-grade teacher vacancy. In Central Teacher Eligibility Test and Rajasthan Eligibility, Examination for Teachers Papers (both papers I and II) contain 5 sections and each section consists of 15 questions from Pedagogy issues and the other 15 ques from the content part.
