AKTU JEE Main Cutoff was released for various BTech and other courses. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks for different categories under the All India and Home State quota. Overall, the most in-demand specialisation was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. The last-round closing rank for BTech in CSE among the General AI category was 30752.6. 

AKTU has recorded good placements for its Institute of Engineering and Technology. As per the report, the highest package offered in 2024 was 53 LPA. The off-campus highest package was 112 LPA. IET recorded average package of 8.2 LPA in 2024.

AKTU is a state-level, public collegiate university. Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), it is a University of National Importance, specially for the UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering and Science. AKTU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Coming to the AKTU placements, the university has not released the placement report for the year 2023. However, as per media reports, 1,531 students were selected in TCS. A total of 318 students were placed with a package of INR 7.60 LPA in TCS Digital and rest 1,213 students were placed with a package of INR 3.60 LPA in TCS Ninja during AKTU placement 2023.

The colleges affiliated to AKTU accepts IPUCET exam for admission to UG and PG courses. The basic criteria to get into AKTU through IPUCET exam is to have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in class 12 and for PG courses, the minimum aggregate 50% marks in Bachelor's Degree. So, if you are securing a percentile of 72 in class 12th, it is more than enough to appear for IPUCET to get into AKTU.

According to IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) placement report 2024, more than 60% students were placed. A total 10 international offers and 44 PPOs were made in 2024. 382 students were placed as well. The highest on-campus and off-campus package offered was 53 LPA and 112 LPA.

Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. CUET UG Counselling is usually held between Jul and Aug.

AKTU accepts JEE Main Scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. AKTU BTech cutoff 2024 has been concluded and as per the available data, the cutoff ranged between 30751.6 and 1413411 for the General AI category candidates. Wherein, the B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering was the most competitive course with a Last Round closing rank of 30751.6 for the General AII India category students.

After the JEE Main session 2 result announced, candidates need to first head on to official JEE Main website to know the performance in terms of rank and marks on the portal. You further need to download the scorecard to assess your performance. The needed details to log in are application number and birth date. Apart checking scorecard and rank, they need to check out their qualifying status. Based on your results, you then have to make up your mind to prepare for JEE Advanced or not to get into the IITs. Moreover, the candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam will be allowed to sit for the counselling rounds of NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes. While applying for the counselling, candidates must have to ensure that all the necessary documents are ready to be submitted.
