AKTU offers a full-time BPharma through various colleges affiliated with it. The duration of the UG-level programme is four years. Some colleges affiliated with the university also allow lateral entry to the second year of BPharma. Admission to BPharma at AKTU is based on the CUET UG scores of applicants. The seats are allotted through the UPTAC, an online counselling process conducted by the university.

Selection Rounds

AKTU BPharm Scholarships 2026
BPharm students can avail of AKTU scholarships offered under the regulations of the UP State Scholarship scheme. Every year, UP State releases a notification for fee reimbursement for the students of AKTU and its affiliated colleges. The scholarships are offered to eligible and meritorious students from the SC/ST/OBC category. Students can register themselves for fee-waiver scholarship schemes through the 'Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement Online System of UP State'. AKTU admissions through CUET usually have seven rounds of counselling. There are five counselling rounds and two special rounds. Students eligible for UPTAC Counselling must register on the official website. The process has started.
Students can get admission in AKTU even if they have RT in Chemistry. Candidates must pass at least five subjects and clear the minimum aggregate percentage required by the university. The minimum percentage required to be eligible for AKTU admission is 45% in Class 12. Although RT in Chemistry may prevent aspirants from taking specific courses like BPharm or Biotech, which list Chemistry as a mandatory subject.
Presently, the University houses four constituent colleges, including the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Architecture Lucknow, Centre for Advanced Studies, UP Institute of Design Noida. Apart from this, the University has 45+ affiliated colleges and 780+ institutes under its name. AKTU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
