Aliah University is the best university I have ever studied at.

Placements: The B.Tech course is good in this university, and the placements are very high with confirmed 100% placement every year. The highest package, to my knowledge, is 16 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and other MNCs. 100% student placement is done at the university.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, library, Wi-Fi, and other facilities are 100% working and of good quality. The infrastructure of the university building is also maintained and repaired every year. Hostels are also good, the rooms and beds are well-made, and furnished rooms are given to students. Sports facilities are also good.

Faculty: The faculty and other staff are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable for students, and also polite. The English curriculum is relevant at this university. The semester exams are a little bit tougher, but for hardworking students, the exams have become easy.

Other: I chose this course at this university because my father and I also want to become engineers. Events are happening, and the campus surroundings are good.

One of the best engineering colleges in West Bengal.

Placements: In the mechanical engineering department, almost everyone got a job, and their salary was almost 30k+. Many famous companies, like Pinnacle, RDC Cement, and Tega Industries, came and offered jobs. TPO did a great job. Basically every student goes for an internship.

Infrastructure: The hostel was too good. Good Food. Good atmosphere. In hostels & colleges, there is also Wi-Fi. Lab was the most interesting part of this college. That was too good. Canteen food was too good but needed a lot more improvement. We also have a badminton court and a kabaddi court.

Faculty: Teachers were so friendly & always helped to increase students knowledge. In West Bengal, I think Aliah University exam fees are lower than any other colleges. It's around 6k per semester. Exams are a little bit difficult but not too much; if you can study, then you can easily pass the exam.

Other: The mechanical department is the best department in this college.

Good university after IITs and NITs; go for it if it suits you.

Placements: Placement is all good here if you studied well, especially if you are in CSE. Then it's all good, but you have to study well, and you will get placement 100%. Nearly 90% of student get placed; the highest package was 5 crores PA and the lowest package was 3 to 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HCL, Wipro, ITC, Amazon, etc. The top roles were engineer and junior engineer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is all good it's a state-run college so it has good infrastructure. The college looks amazing from outside; you can find all the respective labs and tutorial class for different subjects, and you will get unlimited Wi-Fi. Classrooms are in very good condition, there's a library where you can find all the books, and library has AC too. Talking about the hostels, they are also very good compared to other hostels. Food quality and cleanliness are all good.

Faculty: Teachers are well educated and all are very good at teaching, except some of them. Overall, the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is very relevant and when teachers teach you the right way, it definitely makes you industry-ready. If you paid attention in class and practiced all topics well, then semester exams are easy to pass, but you have to work hard. Exams are somewhat tough, but you will get marks if you wrote well, as the university itself gives marks.

Other: I chose this course because my family suggested I do so. The course would be better if they reduced the syllabus; there are not many events, but you will have fun here; the events are different for each branch. Different branches conduct their own fests, but there's a common party called the IFTAR party, which you will enjoy a lot. There are sports competitions, too.
