Aligarh Muslim University offers a three-year full-time BSc course at the undergraduate level. Apart from the BSc course, the University also offers BSc (Hons) courses. For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. The highest package offered to the BA LLB batch in recent placements has not been released yet. However, the median package offered during 2022 placements is available in the NIRF report 2023. During 2022 placements, the median package for BA LLB stood at INR 12.30 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered during 2021 placements was INR 10.20 LPA. Those who meet the eligibility and selection criteria can apply through the AMU’s official website by filling out the online application form by paying the required application fee. AMU conducts an entrance exam for admission to the MBA programme, candidates who qualify for the entrance exam will be shortlisted for the counselling process followed by document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

AMU has a pre-defined set of eligiblity criteria for admission to the various BSc specialisations that it provides. The eligibility crietra vary across the specialisations. In general, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with relevant Science subjects to be eligible for BSc admission at AMU. The relevant subjects may vary depending upon the choice of specialisation. Further, candidates must not be more than 24 years old as of July 01 in the year of admission.

The AMU BSc in Biochemistry curriculum is designed in a way to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the chemical processes within living organisms. Spread over a duration of three years, which in total is six semesters. Each semester, students will get to learn certain core and Ability Enhancement Discipline Centric Courses. Some of the subjects included are Biomolecules, Microbiology & Virology, Enzymology, Biostatistics, etc.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a full-time MBBS course at the postgraduate level for a duration of four and a half years along with a 1-year compulsory rotatory internship. To be eligible for AMU MBBS admission, candidates must secure 50 Percentile (for the general category). The cutoff marks for 2022 ranged between 715 and 117. AMU B.P.Ed admission is based on candidates' performance in a Physical Fitness & Skill Test conducted by the department. The departmental test shall be held at the Aligarh campus only. AMU B.Ed admission is based on candidates' performance in a departmental test conducted by the University. The B.Ed course is offered at Aligarh, Malappuram and Murshidabad campuses. The total seat intake for the Aligarh Muslim University B.Ed course is 100. Candidates seeking admission to this course also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. For AMU B.Ed admission, candidates must have passed BA/BSc/BCom with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
