AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MA at some other college or university. AMU BSc admission process begins with applying for the entrance exam. The university conducts AMU entrance exam (AMU EE) to admit students to its BSc programme. The AMU EE dates vary from year to year. In 2024, the application process strated in March and continued till the thrid week of April. Admission to some BSc courses at AMU is based on CUET UG scores. Hence, candidates seeking admission to these courses must apply for the CUET UG exam before the application deadline. The application process for the exam typically begins in February.

AMU MBBS cut off 2023 is based on NEET scores and finally on NEET Counselling. NEET 2023 Counselling has been released up to Round 4. The university also offers BDS courses. The counselling for BDS has been concluded after Round 5.
