Admission to the distance BCom programme at Andhra University is not so hard, prospective students are required to manage a decent academic score in Class 12. Whereas, admission to a regular BCom programme might be a little more tough than distance one. Andhra University Visakhapatnam Infrastructure
Andhra University is spread across a campus of 422 acres, with over 120 academic, administrative and support service buildings. Other than this, the university is also equipped with 324 staff quarters. Presently, the university caters for education in five green districts of Andhra Pradesh namely Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Vizinagaram and Srikakulam. Andhra University offers 23 hostel buildings for boys with accommodation of 3,200 students and 10 hostels for women with a capacity of 2,000. Also, there are two hostels, especially for foreign/ NRI students.
Andhra University in Vizag infrastructure offers its students two residential health centres and a home dispensary. Adding to its advanced infrastructure, the university also has four guest houses, one central canteen and four other canteens, women waiting for halls, a press and publication division, a faculty club and schools for employees’ children.
