ABV IIITM Gwalior (An Institute of National Importance).

Placements: The average placement of our college is quite impressive. The average CTC for the Computer Science branch is 25 LPA, the average CTC of the 5-year IT program is 23 LPA, and the average CTC of the 5-year IT + MBA program is 18 LPA. Two new branches were added in 2023, so their placements haven't occurred yet. The maximum package from our college is 1.9 crores (international package), and the minimum package is 10.2 LPA. Top companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Zomato, Nutanix, Oracle, etc., approach our college in both live and online modes. Top roles such as SDE, CTO, etc., are also offered. Almost every student in our college gets an internship in their field of interest, and seniors help by giving referrals for internships and placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. As our college was established in 1997, it had enough time to develop. Each department has a special block, called A, B, C block. The college provides excellent Wi-Fi connectivity and LAN ports in hostels. The labs in our college are good, having been maintained well over the past 25 years. For the EEE course, which is newly added for B.Tech, we have all the necessary lab equipment. The classrooms in our college are spacious, fully air-conditioned, and equipped with projectors and boards. The library, also termed as LRC (Learning Resource Center), is large and has many books for students preparing for competitive exams as well as for their courses. It is also considered the largest library in Central India.

Faculty: The teachers and professors at our college are very experienced, as all are Ph.D. graduates with extensive knowledge. It is said that only two institutions in India have all Ph.D. graduate professors: IIT Bombay and IIITM Gwalior. The quality of teaching is excellent; the material is fully understandable if you listen carefully. The course curriculum is relevant. You might hesitate to take admission in a new branch like EEE because their placements have not yet occurred, but you will soon realize that the professors are knowledgeable and the placement cell is effective. Working on your skills is important. The exams are not very difficult, but consistent learning is necessary. Each semester includes two exams: Mid-semester and End-semester. The passing percentage is almost 100 percent, with only a few students failing due to important work or illness.

Other: I also hesitated at first while choosing this course, but after coming here, I realize that I am fully satisfied with my decision. The college campus, hostels, teachers, and most importantly, the coding culture of this college are very good. From the first year, you will gain knowledge about DSA, Web Development, ML, etc. Events such as Aurora (Annual fest), Celestia, Infotsav (Annual technical fest), Urja (Annual sports fest), and others such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Lohri, etc., are celebrated. Our college is well-connected, being almost 7-8 km from Gwalior Railway Station, 3-4 km from Gwalior Airport, and 2 km from the Bus Station. You can easily reach the college by autorickshaws. The campus is beautiful, full of trees, plants, birds, and even has a biodiversity park. Scholarships are given for maintaining good performance in exams. The first type of scholarship is for the top 5 percent of students in terms of CGPA or JEE Main Rank, which provides a 100 percent waiver in tuition fees and 12 thousand per year. The second type is 3 thousand per month for the next top 10 percent of students. There are many clubs such as AASF (coding club), E-Cell, Rotaract Club, Manchtantra, SGM, IEEE, Uthaan (reporting club).

Review about my college and facilities.

Placements: The average package offered for on-campus placement was INR 24.31 LPA. The highest salary offered both domestically and internationally was INR 65 LPA and 7.5 LPA in Japanese yen. More than 80 companies visited the college. Some of the top multinational companies that visit our college include Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Adobe, etc.

Infrastructure: Lecture halls are completely air-conditioned. The college contains four boy hostels, namely Aravali, Nilgiri, Shivalik, and IVH, or Satpura, while one girl hostel is named Gangotri. The campus is equipped with 24x7 Wi-Fi connections. The food quality in the mess is nice. The college contains a sports complex and a hospital. Each hostel is equipped with indoor games and a purified water cooler. Labs are well managed and contain all the necessary apparatus.

Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders from both Indian and foreign-reputated universities in our college. The faculty-student ratio in our college is 1:6. All teachers have great knowledge in their respective fields. Some teachers have nice teaching skills, but some are unable to connect with students properly.

Other: The fest of our college is Aurora, which is one of the biggest fest of our college. Infotsav is the tech fest of our college, which is one of the largest techno-managerial fest in central India. Our college provides scholarships to needy students, such as merit-cum-mean scholarships from the Shraman Foundation, USA.

Average plus a good college.

Placements: Around 80%-90% of students get placed depending upon course and batch. The highest salary package offered ranges from 40 LPA - 80 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 25 LPA- 20 LPA and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 10 LPA. Our best courses are IMT, BEE, and BCS. Many skillful people got internships in their second years and coding is much focused here.

Infrastructure: Facilities available are Wi-Fi, labs, air-conditioned classrooms, and a big library named LRC. Mess food is average. There is a big sports complex, a cricket ground, a swimming pool, and many clubs.

Faculty: We have the best teachers. They focus more on study and coding. Semester exams are not much difficult as normal here. Professor is passed from IIT, NIT, and IIIT. Professors are PhD holders.
