Candidates must pass Class 12 or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate in PCM/ Biology for Bioengineering department. Apart from the regular four-year BTech course, Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research provides lateral entry. BTech (LE) is also available in various specialisations, namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, etc. However, one can also apply for lateral entry after completing the Diploma course.
