Calcutta University BTech Courses & Fees 2026: Eligibility, Seats, Cutoff, How to Apply?

Calcutta University BTech course admission will follow a centralised counselling process after WBJEE results are out. After centralised counselling process is over, candidates will receive an allottment letter which is required for Calcutta University BTech application process.

STEP 1: Calcutta University BTech Application Process

Before applying for Calcutta University admission, candidates need to appear in WBJEE followed by subsequent centralised counselling process. Candidates can register for both through their respective NTA portals. After receving allottment letter, candidates can register for BTech admission by following below steps:

• Go to Calcutta University's website.
• Click on Admission and search for notice of BTech admission (this is usually found in July-August of current year).
• Open BTech admission portal and register on it.
• Login and fill your details.
• Attach copies of all necessary documents.
• Pay Calcutta University BTech application fees.

STEP 2: Selection of Candidates

During centralised counselling process, candidates are required to lock their institute and BTech course preference. Once choice filling is over, candidates are allotted seats based on WBJEE result. If any seats remain vacant after allottment, candidates applying through JEE Main are considered for admission.

After counselling rounds, candidatesare handed an allottment letter which they need to present at Calcutta University. Verification of this letter will be done and admission slip will be handed out afterwards.

STEP 3: Confirmation of Admission

Candidates will be asked to payCalcutta University BTech admission fees to confirm their admission. This fees is mentioned on admission slip along with a deadline to pay the same. After payment of admission fees, document verification process will begin.
