Calcutta University BSc Courses & Fees 2026: Eligibility, Cutoff, Curriculum, How to Apply?

Candidates can begin Calcutta University BSc application process after advertisement for admission commencement has been released. Every BSc course follows a common eligibility and selection process during Calcutta University BSc course admission.

STEP 1: Calcutta University BSc Application Process

• Go to Calcutta University's website.
• Click on Admission and search for notice of BSc admission.
• Open BSc admission portal and register on it.
• Login and fill your details.
• Attach copies of all necessary documents.
• Pay Calcutta University BSc application fees of INR 500.

STEP 2: Selection of Candidates

Candidates will be evaluated based on their score in Calcutta University entrance exam after submitting their admission form. If candidates are found to have exact same score as any other candidate, Class 12 board exam result might be considered to break the tie.

Selected candidates are called for a counselling round where they lock their choice of BSc course and campus. After allottment is done, candidates are handed out admission letter which contains details for final stage of admission

STEP 3: Confirmation of Admission

Confirmation of Calcutta University admission will be done by paying BSc admission fees mentioned in admission letter. This letter will also include a deadline to pay this fees for seat confirmation into chosen BSc course. Once this admission fees is paid, document verification process will begin.
