Overall good experience. I will suggest it to others.
Placements: According to seniors, about 80 percent of students are placed decently whereas about 20 percent are hired by mass recruiters. Placements are good if you maintain a good CGPA and skills. Good placements await you. Just maintain an above-8 CGPA and learn something unique from the crowd, and you will make it.
Infrastructure: Hostel is too good. Food is top tier according to hostel standards. There is variety, and the food quality is good. Non-AC rooms are equipped with cooler vents so you can sleep peacefully, study rooms are available, and a balcony is attached for fresh air and rest. Libraries are available in each block and you can borrow any book you want.
Faculty: Some faculty members may be assistant professors but they teach well. You may struggle in some subjects based on your learning style, as some assistant professors have different teaching styles.

All about Chandigarh University - From infrastructure to curriculum.
Placements: Talking about placements, companies come with different roles and with good packages. Many big MNCs come with big packages, but only 2-3 students get selected. Talking about how many got placed it depends on the students Chandigarh University brings to the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. It's a private university, so the infrastructure is excellent. They have 2 campuses one is the main campus, and another one is GGS. In GGS BCA and MCA classes take place and on the main campus it looks like a film set they made for South Campus, I like it.
Faculty: About the curriculum they take 2 MST and 1 EST then in between them there are lab MSTs too which make a semester a little hectic. They have around 10 experiments in each subject you have to make a practical file in each subject, and then in end-semester final lab MST, you have to submit it.
Other: If you are getting any other government college, go for it but in private it's worth it.

Good college with great faculty members.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course was 40-45 percent. The highest average package of my course was 6 LPA, while the lowest average package was 4.5 LPA. Top companies in my course were advertising agencies and public relations firms like The Times Group, NDTV, and Network18. Around 30 to 35% of students got internships in my course in companies like news networks and advertising agencies. The top roles offered in my course were Generalist and Digital Marketer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in my department were very good. Wi-Fi was available at very high speed. Labs were neat and clean for practical exams, classrooms were modern, and digital blackboards were used. The library was modern and digitized. The quality of facilities in my hostel was good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen was edible. Medical facilities were available, sports were organized every year, and games were played between classes.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and well-qualified, with PhD-level qualifications. Some had master's degrees in relevant courses. The teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant, and it made students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams in my college was not very hard. The pass percentage of my college was 45 to 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in social media networks, news networks, and communication sectors. The best thing about my course is that it provides practical knowledge. The thing that would make my course better is having regular interaction classes between students and industry professionals to improve communication skills. Events and fests were organized every year. The surroundings were very good. Scholarships were given to eligible students, and extracurricular activities were conducted every year.

Good college and cooperative faculty members, but it should have regular English-speaking classes.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 45%. The highest average package offered in my course is 6 LPA. The lowest average package is 3.5 LPA. Around 20-25% of students get internships in my course, according to students who are interested in internships. The companies hiring students are Indian banking services like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank. The roles offered are Investment Banker, Financial Analyst, Corporate Banking Manager, Risk Manager, Wealth Manager, and Credit Analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is above average. It has a high-quality Wi-Fi network, neat and clean laboratories, and digitized classrooms with smart classes. The library is modernized. Facilities and quality available in my hostel are very good. The quality of food available in the mess is very good. The campus has a canteen, medical facilities, courses organized every month, and games are played after lunch.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Teachers are PhD-qualified and have master's degrees in relevant courses. My course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams in my college are not very hard. Faculty members are very cooperative during examinations. The pass percentage in my course is 40-45%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in financial assessment and doing banking jobs and working in corporate sectors. The best thing about my course is that there are many options after completing my degree, such as private sectors and private bank jobs. The thing that would improve my course is having regular English-speaking classes so that students can interact better. Events and fests are organized. The campus surroundings are very good. Scholarships are given to eligible students. Extracurricular activities are organized during the annual fest.

Years of learning and improving.
Placements: Most of the students got placed in my course with the highest package of 17 LPA and the lowest with 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, GoDaddy, etc. A few also got internships in their desired companies as data analysts, backend developers, etc., types of roles.
Infrastructure: The college comes with breathtaking infrastructure like foreign universities with lovely interiors. 24/7 Wi-Fi is provided with high speed, and also we have fully air-conditioned rooms. Mess food is also good, full of nutrition, and a sports complex is provided with almost every sport one can think off.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and always ready to hear the doubts and solve them perfectly. They use PPT and the curriculum syllabus that they have gone through themselves so that they could deliver a fully knowledgeable session. The course curriculum helps students achieve standards up to industry level. Semester exams are moderate most of us pass the exam in 1 go.
Other: I chose this course because the evolving world requires more and better software engineering so that we can innovate more things to make life sustainable. I wish they should take limited admission so that one can feel attentive and innovative. The events and scholarships provided by the university are up to the mark and the best.

Forensic Science course outlook in Chandigarh University.
Placements: There are a total of 54 students. The highest package offered in our course is 6 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Many private forensic Science labs recruit students, but there are still fewer private opportunities. The internship is done by the students themselves NIT is provided by the university. After doing M.Sc. in forensic science, we can become an assistant scientific officer in the labs.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have a good Wi-Fi facility, there are 4 AC vents in the class, and projectors are present. The library is present on the 6 th floor of the department where one can go and study properly. There is a dispensary on the campus where medical facilities are provided. As I'm a day scholar, I don't know much about hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are PhD holders with 8 to 10 years of experience and they are intellectual and supportive. The semester exams are good if you study well, you will excel in the exams as well. There are 4 semesters in this course, and at the end of the 4th semester, we have to submit a thesis as well.
Other: This course provides you with an insightful experience related to crime and how we can help the court to assist in providing justice. The fee for the course in CU is Rs. 80,000, but if you have marks greater than 7.5 with 75 percent attendance, then you will also get scholarships.

For B.Tech. CSE, both LPU and Chandigarh University have their own strengths. I would compare the course curriculum, specialisations, labs, fees, internships, placements and campus life instead of choosing only by the university name. For BTech, the three are not exactly the same, but the core preparation overlaps heavily.

  • LPU NEST: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics, with English depending on the programme. The syllabus is essentially Class 11–12 PCM level.

  • Chitkara: For regular BTech, Chitkara currently mainly uses Class 12 eligib

For B.Tech CSE, I would prefer Galgotias University. It offers good placement opportunities, industry exposure, modern infrastructure and a wide range of CSE specializations. Being in Delhi-NCR is also an advantage for internships and career opportunities. Companies collab labs.

LPU also has strong engineering infrastructure, labs, industry exposure and plenty of opportunities beyond CSE, including Mechanical. I’d compare the faculty, labs, plac
