The CMAT 2026 registration window for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses is anticipated to open in the second week of Nov 2025.
The MAT Result 2025 for the September session exam will be announced by the 2nd week of Oct 2025.
The KMAT Kerala 2026 registration process for Session 1 for admission to the MBA course will begin tentatively in Feb 2026.
The CAT 2025 exam for admission to MBA/PGDM courses is scheduled to be conducted on Nov 30, 2025.

CUSAT Admission Process 2025

Cochin University of Science and Technology admission is a multi-step process. Candidates have to register, appear for selection rounds and finally book their seats by paying the programme fee. Cochin University of Science and Technology conducts an entrance examination by itself for admissions into both UG and PG courses. However, candidates are also allowed to apply for examination based on scores obtained in any national or state level entrance exams. Below is step-wise CUSAT admission process:

1: CUSAT Application Process 2025: Candidates can apply online for the course of their choice on the official website of CUSAT. Below is the application fee that aspirants need to pay to register for a course.

2: Selection Rounds

CUSAT BTech Admission 2025: CUSAT offers admission to its flagship programme i.e. BTech based on CUSAT CAT scores of the candidates. The university also accepts admission for BTech (lateral entry).

CUSAT Integrated Law Admission 2025: The university offers five-year Integrated Law programmes-BA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons) and BSc LLB (Hons). The selection for these courses is based on CUSAT CAT scores of the candidates.

CUSAT PG Admission 2025: At the PG level, the university offers MSc, MTech, MBA and LLB programmes. The university accepts scores in GATE for MTech, KMAT, CAT and CMAT for MBA.

CUSAT PhD Admission 2025: The university shortlists candidates for PhD based on their score in DAT. The test has two parts: a written and an interview.

CUSAT Fees 2025: Affordability & ROI

CUSAT fees include multiple components like tuition, library, lab, quasi, etc. There is also a one-time caution deposit that candidates need to pay at the time of admission. There is a relaxation in fees for SC/ ST candidates.

CUSAT follows a fee refund policy in case of cancellation or withdrawal of admission. A 100% refund is processed in case of admission cancellation before the formally notified last date of admission.

CUSAT Fee Refund Policy

CUSAT refunds some percentage of fee depending on the time of admission cancellation. A maximum of 100% refund is done. The refund is applicable on the aggregate fee which excludes the caution deposit and refundable deposits, if any. Below is the fee refund policy followed at CUSAT:

CUSAT offers full-time and part-time MBA programmes through the School of Management Studies. MBA is a two-year course spread across four semesters. Part-time MBA is a three-year course divided into six semesters. CUSAT BTech Admission 2025

CUSAT provides a full-time four-year undergraduate engineering, refers to BTech in regular programme, and provides 11 specialisations such as CSE, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, etc. This four-year course is spans over eight semesters. The university also provide a BTech (lateral entry) programme from the third semester of a regular BTech course. Below is the CUSAT NIRF Student Diversity Report. Looking at the overall data, CUSAT has a maximum enrollment of 1803 in the PG 2-year course. The highest enrollment of students outside the state was in UG 4-year programme. UG 4-year course also saw 10 enrollments from International students.

The female participation was 66 % in UG 5-year course, indicating gender imbalance. The female percentage was also dominant (65%) in PG 5-year course.

CUSAT Application Process 2025

The mode of application is online. Only the candidates who submit the form successfully become eligible to appear for the entrance exam and to take admission. Below are the steps to CUSAT application:

The application fee for CUSAT CAT courses is as mentioned in the following table:

Kerala SC/ST candidates	INR 700 to appear for a maximum of two test codes

For each additional test code, INR 500 is required for general candidates and INR 250 for KSC/ KST candidates.

1: Visit the admission page of CUSAT(admission.cusat.ac.in).

2: Click on “New Candidate Registration”.

3: Fill out the application form.

4: Upload a recent passport-size photograph. Also upload a scanned image of your signature in landscape orientation. The images shall be in .png or .jpg or .jpeg format.

For Photograph – Upload a passport-size photo with dimension 150 px X 57 px and file size not more than 500 KB.
For Signature – File size shall not be more than 100 KB and the dimension should be 130 px X 57 px

5: Select the programme or combination of programmes.

6: After submission of course details, check all the details on the short preview.

7: Pay the application fee through credit/debit cards or net banking.

8: Choose the neatest or preferred test centre.

9: Take a print of the confirmation page.

I am almost satisfied with the college. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 75% of students are getting placed. If you are skilled, then the college will support you to the maximum, and they will provide opportunities for 100%. Placement coordinators are encouraging and providing training with utmost sincerity and seriousness. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. About 50% of students are getting internship opportunities. Top roles offered include software engineer, full-stack developer, etc. The highest package is above 10 LPA, and average is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The lowest salary will be about 3 LPA - 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: College is providing good infrastructure and facilities. Classrooms are well maintained and furnished, and all classrooms as well as lab are under camera surveillance. They provide a good Wi-Fi connection. I am a hosteler, and it is also maintained properly. Food quality is also okay. They have proper schedule as well as food menu and follow it properly.

Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced, and you can witness 30% faculty will move to government colleges or to industries for much exposure after 1 year of experience. Faculty members are very friendly and their teaching methods are good. KTU syllabus will not make students ready for the industry. For that we cannot blame college but this college is providing special training for students according to the latest trends in industry where they will provide 3 options. We can choose any domain and train according.

Other: I am very much interested in computer science. It is very competitive field and getting a job is not easy. But due to current situation and recession, we are facing some difficulties. University should change its syllabus and train students for the industry, not only for marks, but companies need skilled workers. Around 1500 students studying in the college. I don't feel much crowd, they are conducting many events in a grand manner. The main festival in Advay. Around 300 students are there in hostel. College is 20 KM away from Ernakulam, the nearest town in Arakkunnam, Mulanthuruthy, and Piravom. The railway station is 5 KM from college, and 500 meters from the bus stop.

Many students secure jobs in prominent companies such as IBM, Infosys, TCS, and others. Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, the college falls short in several aspects. The hostel facilities are adequate, and there is a noticeable lack of proper sports amenities. Additionally, the area is prone to unhealthy food options, and the institution appears to be struggling financially, especially in comparison with the main campus. There are also no dedicated hostel buildings owned by the college.

Faculty: The teaching faculty consists of highly experienced individuals, many of whom have over two decades of experience in the field. Placements: Placements here are pretty good and I would say that this college is very underrated and overall educational quality is fantastic. The alumni here are at very high positions. Students are getting placed in very big companies like IBM, TCS, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure and hostel facility are very poor. There is no proper sports facility and it's a very food-prone area. The financial condition of the college is very poor compared to the main campus. The college doesn't have its own hostel facilities.

Faculty: The teaching staff are well-experienced, with more than 20 years of teaching experience. The staff are very friendly and interactive. The curriculum is not that great since here the semester duration is very short and a lot of portions are left.

Other: The sports facilities here are very poor.

Overall, the best university for an M.A. in Applied Economics course

Placements: 85% of students secured placements, and 70% of our seniors found placements while the remainder pursued their own projects. The maximum package was 10 LPA, the minimum was 1 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. Numerous enterprises arrived here seeking job positions. 60% of students secured internships across various companies. Roles included data analyst, policy analyst, and others.

Infrastructure: Rooms come with a pair of fans, and there is a continuous supply of water and electricity available around the clock. The meals offered are of high quality, providing nutritious shakes, milk, and fruits during breakfast. Enrollment is completed online via the college's official website, and the costs are fair and manageable for students.

Faculty: Our college's professors and Head of Department are really supportive. Despite the problems with the Diploma, they helped me. The course syllabus is appropriate. The training and placement section teaches students how to participate in interviews, succeed in group discussions, and manage simulated assessments, among other things. The semester exam is quite difficult, with a pass rate of about 45%.

College campus is clean and hygienic. Also, the faculties and the placement record are impressive.

Placements: Our college placement cell is always active and always thinks about the best for the students. Every year, the placement record here is above 90%. Many of our seniors and I have got job offers in various famous companies like Vice, TCS, Wipro, etc. Also, many of us get the opportunity to study abroad for higher studies. The salary package here is four LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure base of our college is beautiful and well-equipped. There is air conditioning in every class. In addition, the classrooms here are quite large and bright. The college has a large library with a large number of books from home and abroad. There is also a playground, gym center, and free Wi-Fi on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are all very good and help the students in every way. They are all experienced, and most of them are Ph.D. holders. Through various project practicals, the students are prepared for external interviews and working in companies. The pass rate here is more than 85% every year.

Placements: This college offers good placements with different companies. However, last year the highest package was 9 LPA, which was not good, but this year it should be better. People who have started companies and work in good companies come here for orientation. Good placements overall.

Infrastructure: The course is okay, but the Wi-Fi facility is not available. This college is old and a little furnished. The library has books related to the course. Talking about arts, sports, and extracurricular activities, they are not good; I would say few are considered since the new principal arrived. Only study and other practices are considered now.

Faculty: Regular exams are conducted, and the faculty are college-level. For semester exams, you either get plenty of holidays or very few, and most of the fees are remitted soon after the exams are over. Teaching quality is also okay, but most of the time when classes are low, portions are still pending.

Other: Campus life is very poor. If you want to enjoy college, it is not at all recommended, being poorer than other colleges. Only the friend's vibe and poor sports and arts facilities are available.
