KNC is good for psychology and other honors courses.
Placements: There are no placements. You have to be active in your own course and secure a good CGPA to get yourself a decent job in this field. The college provides no placement drives. You are on your own after graduation. You'll have to get internships yourself to get into a place you want. The overall placement is nearly zero.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained. Wi-Fi and library facilities are there. Kamala Nehru College does not provide hostel facilities. However, you can get plenty of PG accommodations near the college. The canteen is also decent and well-maintained. The campus is beautiful but not that big. However, you will get a good experience overall.
Faculty: The teachers are great. There are expert teachers with a helpful and gentle mindset. There is a practical and exam-focused curriculum. A good college for pursuing psychology. Exams are held semester-wise. You will get good marks if you study according to the professor's method. The course is good.

My college is quite peaceful and good for studies however, it needs strong student activism.
Placements: I am in my 1st year, so no, we did not go through the placement season yet however, the internship fair did happen in my college. To be honest, I wasn't an active member there either. I think a few students did land good internships in BHEL.
Infrastructure: The economics department does not have separate labs or anything. However, the Wi-Fi condition of our college is pretty good, and the classrooms are decent as well. Sometimes we do face space issues in the classes. The library can be made better. There are good sports complexes in my college.
Faculty: The teachers are quite friendly however we do face some issues with some of them. I feel the course curriculum is relevant. The exams are pretty decent and sometimes unpredictably tough. Passing percentage, to be honest, I don't know because I never faced that issue however, quite a few students do face it in exams.
Other: I like studying social Science and Maths that is why I chose this course. I feel we can get some technical knowledge and market knowledge to bridge the gap and lag in theory.

Excellent college and will recommend it to other students.
Placements: 144 out of 1525 students got placed in the Daulat Ram College of the University of Delhi. The highest package is 23.05 LPA and average is 6.47 LPA. Recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, etc. Over 200 internships are offered. Roles offered are business analyst, financial analyst, business executive, etc.
Infrastructure: The library has the perfect studying atmosphere and fully working ACs for students to maintain focus. The ground is well maintained with plants and stress. The canteen food is especially the best, with good quality and affordability. The new building has a good environment.
Faculty: The most difficult subjects are math and economics, and the teachers made it so easy to understand and explain. The course curriculum is well suited for a global Master's if anyone plans to go somewhere. The difficulty is good but manageable if studied properly.
Other: I love economics, hence I chose this course, and the curriculum surpasses expectations.

Absolutely satisfied with the college and would definitely encourage people to come here.
Placements: 144 out of 1525 students are placed in our college. The placement cell looks very deeply and ensures that the companies coming are very legit and helpful for the students. The average package is 6 LPA, and the companies that visit our college are Deloitte, Muthoot, Pehechaan, and many more.
Infrastructure: There are ACs in our college rooms as well as the sports rooms and the library. The infrastructure is well maintained and does not raise any such issues for the students. The food in our mess and canteen is very well cooked, along with its quality.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful, motivating, supporting, and always in contact with the students who need help. The material which is taught to us is very genuine and helps more than our academic exams. The semester exams are well prepared, which also helps the students to prepare for the final exams.

Good college, decent placement, and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 40-50 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 10 LPA-11 LPA and the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, PwC, EY, LensKart, etc. Roles offered are sales intern, business operation executive, marketing intern, operations intern, human resources intern, etc.
Infrastructure: Earlier, there was a shortage of classrooms, but recently a new building has been constructed, so now the college is working towards improving infrastructure. A hostel is not available, so students from outside live in flats or PG. The canteen is average. Sports and game facilities are good. Many children participate in inter-college competitions and win prizes.
Faculty: There are some teachers who don't teach properly, while some teachers teach very well. The curriculum is not good because it is not updated continuously and doesn't make students industry-ready. It is easy to pass the semester as most of the questions get repeated every year. Most of the students clear their exams if they study well.
Other: I was interested in commerce, so I chose B.Com. I like the subjects that are taught, like cost accounting, financial management, etc. I want them to add more practical subjects. They organise good events but should organise more events.

Loved the atmosphere full of friendly and helpful people.
Placements: Every year, many government and private internships, both paid and unpaid, give exposure. Exclusive government projects are introduced for students to gain on-ground experience. Many, after the course, get into a Master's in top universities and further work with the government in sectors like Disaster Management, Urban and Rural Development and GIS/GPS related fields. Some of our alumni are working in tech giants like Google, Lake, etc.
Infrastructure: Almost all the required infrastructure is available. Some Wi-Fi network issues do arise, but hopefully it will be sorted soon. Professors usually teach through PPTs on projectors and even provide notes. No inside hostel is provided, but lots of PGs are available nearby within walking distance (sometimes costly). Nice sports infrastructure with basketball, cricket, badminton, etc. Equipment is well maintained even new areas for sports are constantly being updated and constructed. A fully functional medicine room with generous staff will never disappoint. Our canteen has a wide variety of full meals and snacking options at an affordable price.
Faculty: Teachers are 10/10 on the basis of teaching style and knowledge. They often indulge in discussions around making a career in the field. Adaptive to the changing world of technology and even take online classes for doubt-solving before exams. The semester exams are always from the key headings of the syllabus given by DU, all of them are almost solvable after comprehensive lectures. Kamala Nehru College's Geography faculty is one of the best faculties across the course in DU. Some experienced teachers are approachable and always ready to help.
Other: Something I love about Kamala Nehru is its pace and space for solitude, whether it is their ground, chaupal or even outside. There are parks where you can chill, it's an all-girls college, so you can live life to the fullest here. Secondly, I liked the crowd, and my seniors, almost all in my course, are serious about academics along with being meritocratic in sports, societies and even in NSS and NCC (demands discipline and dedication). If there is no class, all my classmates can be found inside the library doing assignments and reading news.

Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

  • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
  • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
  • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
  • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
  • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

According to me, if you are getting a seat in DU, choose it as your priority. DU is a better choice in terms of academics and affordable fees.
