B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany - Batch of 2027
Offered by Shivaji College, University of Delhi
4.2
One of the best off-campus colleges especially for the Science stream.
Placements: There are a few placements that I'm aware of. The placement drive happens through the society called the Placement and Internship Cell. Many well-known companies participated in it and the students were well prepared for it. For my course specifically there are very few opportunities but for B.Com, etc., there are lots of opportunities.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped. Infrastructure is also good. I think this is one of the best off-campus colleges. There are no hostels. The library is good with different sections for everybody. Computers are there. AC is there. Food is cheap in the canteen. Overall everything is Excellent. The printing shop is there too. Bru is also there. Epicuria is near the college where students go to relax.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is above expectations. There are lots of competitions and webinars happening. Alumni also interact regularly and guide us. Lots of courses are started too which make us ready for the outside world and provide practical knowledge. Teachers are well educated, too.
Other: The campus crowd could be better and there is not much connectivity. The campus surroundings are not safe for girls especially the Pink Line metro side. They take us out for field trips too.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - Batch of 2030
Offered by University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi
4.0
UCMS is excellent for cultural activities.
Placements: The total student size of an MBBS batch every year is 169. They are selected through the NEET UG score. About package it depends on the course they pursue but PG has a salary package of around 1.25 LPA-2.36 LPA. Almost all branches are available with a robust schedule. The top are radiology, dermatology, nuclear medicine, gynaecology, ortho, and medicine.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good. It's a bit old here. Wi-Fi is enabled but not for students even in library. The library is very good. There is a single room for 1st year then a double for 2nd then a single for the rest. Hostel food is okay not bad but the canteen is out of service currently. The tender is over. Sports, medical facilities, and games are well recognised and in high demand.
Faculty: Teachers are awesome. They are well qualified, highly experienced, and have a wealth of knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the future aspect. It depends but overall it is of medium toughness. Pass percentage is above 50 percent. It's a matter of the time they give you to study but the faculty is also good you can depend on them if you are a serious student.
Other: I've been interested in MBBS. It has its own perks in a doctor's life. There should be Wi-Fi for everybody and a less hectic curriculum but you can't as it's MBBS you have to go through it. UCMS is highly active in cultural and extracurricular activities. It has the maximum number of societies for everyone.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2026
Offered by Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi
3.6
All about Shaheed Bhagat Singh College from the perspective of a final-year B.Com student.
Placements: Somewhere around 30 percent of the batch gets placed among those who apply for placements initially. The average package is around 3.6 LPA. The highest package is 16 LPA. Most of the roles offered are in sales. The top recruiter is Deloitte, which hires around 75+ students from our batch for audit profiles with a package of 7 LPA. Almost 60% of the batch gets internships from the college and other sources. The top roles include Analyst, Audit, Accounts, and Sales.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not really good. They are building new facilities, but for our batch, everything was affected due to construction, so it was not very good. Apart from that, facilities like libraries, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are good. There is no hostel, but there is a canteen that offers good food options at affordable prices.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and knowledgeable. The only thing I liked here the most was the faculty. The curriculum is slightly irrelevant, but it helps if you are going into the accounting and analytics fields. Exams are not difficult, and anyone can pass them. The passing percentage is around 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a commerce background. It is one of the best options for commerce students. It gives many opportunities to grow in a career. There are fests and many extracurricular activities where students can participate and enjoy.

I am happy with my college and the overall exposure I had.
Placements: There is no particular placement system but there's a placement cell which is basically a society run by students as well as a teacher coordinator. Not very good companies visit the college. The highest package offered is 3 LPA I could see for my course. Top roles offered are talent acquisition specialists, human resource executive, human resources manager, recruitment specialists, etc.
Infrastructure: There's no hostel. Classrooms are good and well-ventilated but no air conditioners are available. The library has good books as well as AC and Wi-Fi. There are 2 computer labs with Wi-Fi and AC. Sports and games are something CVS is known for. Many tournaments of football, volleyball, etc., take place in the college which are inter as well as intra-college. It makes a good atmosphere and gives college life to sports enthusiasts.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is totally HR based and good for industrial knowledge. Though more practical knowledge should be added. Semester exams are not very difficult. Exam papers are made by the college itself for vocational courses which makes it easier for students to pass.

Good infrastructure, away from Delhi's crowd and pollution, with the best faculty members.
Placements: Roughly 30% to 40% of B.Sc. Maths Honors students get placed. The highest package of my course is around 10–12 LPA, and the lowest is around 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte and KPMG. 50% to 60% of students intern at companies like Deloitte and DeltaX. The top roles offered in my college are Data Analyst, Software Engineer, and Finance Analyst.
Infrastructure: Shaheed Bhagat College has good infrastructure, and the college is trying to improve it further. Some blocks are under construction, but the college has best reading hall and library. The college has very good classrooms, but classrooms provided to Maths students are quite old. Overall, the infrastructure is very good, with excellent labs. The canteen is also very good, offering good food quality with many options at very affordable rates. Medical facilities are very good. Sports facilities have improved a lot, and they are still trying to improve them further.
Faculty: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has very good staff. They have highly qualified degrees from institutes like IITs and IIMs. Teaching quality is very nice. According to me, it improves your thinking and how deeply you can think. It helps you choose the right things in your daily life easily. It also makes your calculations very good. It is beneficial for students entering the industry because of its focus on calculations and calm, deep thinking. Semester exams are not that hard if you study. In my batch, almost 95 to 100% of students pass all the semester exams.
Other: I chose Mathematics Honours because I have a Maths background and I like solving Maths problems. The best thing about my college is the faculty, and labs for the Mathematics department are the best. There is nothing much to improve in my course because they already provide us with the best faculty, professors, and computer labs. College policies do not allow inviting celebrities to events. The campus crowd is very good. They also provide scholarships to students who cannot afford the fees. My college is also very good for extracurricular activities.

Good exposure to social life and a decent environment to study.
Placements: I'm enrolled in B.Sc. (hons) Chemistry and there are 26 students in my class. The package may vary from 3 LPA to 10 LPA in my course. Indian and foreign companies recruit students. Students can get internships depending on their academic performance in emerging companies as well as well-established ones. The top roles offered in my course are lab technician, scientist, forensic scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: The labs are very efficient, the classrooms are decent, and the library is good. Our college doesn't provide hostel services but the canteen has good medical facilities. They have a dispensary attached to the college itself and sports are also good. They almost got all the sports equipment to play.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. The quality of teaching is decent, they teach very well, and you can ask doubts anytime. The curriculum lacks in making the student industry-ready as it should be helpful to give industry exposure through field visits. Semester exams are decent it requires 40 percent to pass.
Other: I chose this course because it was my interest. The best thing about the course is the lab experiments. It would be better if the staff were more friendly. Events and fests are very great.

Decent, not bad, but still needs to work on placements.
Placements: About 10% of students get placements from the college in the range of 2.5 LPA to 5 LPA, as far as I know. I do not have much idea about the companies, as they are not very popular. Around 5 percent of students may get roles such as Junior HR, manager, finance, etc., but I am not completely sure.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work properly. The classroom benches are not good. Fans do not work. There is no AC in the college. Library is not good, as there are not enough books and no proper sitting area for studying. The study room is always occupied by societies.
Faculty: The newly joined teachers are good and helpful. The teaching quality is decent, but not enough if we want practical knowledge. Exams are moderate to difficult. Students need to study seriously. Internal marks are not very good, but the passing rate is good.
Other: I want to pursue an MBA. Better teachers and practical knowledge are needed. Events are decent but not very good, and the crowd is not good, especially the seniors.

Honest review of Lakshmibai College, University of Delhi.
Placements: The college placement cell is developing day by day. Previously, very few placement opportunities for students. But now the college provides many opportunities. This year, more than 100 students get selected for internship programs, but only final-year students are eligible.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is neither bad nor very good. It is average. There are multiple Wi-Fi networks available on the campus. Labs are good, and the college societies are very active. There are many societies, and NCC is also available. The canteen is quite reasonable. The quality and quantity of the food are average.
Faculty: Teachers are very arrogant. They do not help students with their academics, not listen to students or provide any support. I feel that teachers at this college are not as good as those I see in other colleges.
