DTU MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2024
DTU MTech is a two year PG programme. It is offered in full-time mode as well as in part-time mode. The programme is offered across 25 specialisations and is offered through 11 departments, namely Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Industrial Biotechnology, Civil Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering, among others. DTU MTech admission is subject to a valid score in the GATE exam.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A pass in relevant UG degree with at least 60% aggregate
- Those in the final year of their UG degree can also apply
- Those with AMIE/ AMIS/ AMIICHE/ AMIIM/ Grad IETE or those who possess a BSc/ Diploma in Engineering are also eligible

Selection Criteria: GATE (for full-time MTech) | Merit based on past academics (for part-time MTech) | based on DTU admission test for non-GATE full-time MTech candidates.

DTU MTech Admission 2024: How to Apply?
DTU MTech course admissions are decided on the entrance basis with the scores obtained in the GATE entrance exam. Candidates must complete the DTU MTech course admissions in online mode following the steps mentioned below:
1: Visit the official website of DTU (http://admission.dtu.ac.in/)
2: Fill in the complete application form and upload the photograph as per the instructions available in the form.
3: Pay the DTU MTech application fees and submit the form.
4: All candidates must take a printout of the completed form after fee payment since it needs to be carried out during the final admission round. The printed form should be affixed with the same photograph which was uploaded in the online application form. The application fee is INR 1,500 for all categories.

DTU MTech Placements 2024
Over 350 recruiters participated in the 2024 placements and selected more than 1,900 students. The total number of offers made was above 2,053. The overall highest domestic package stood at INR 85.30 LPA. Furthermore, the DTU average package 2024 stood at INR 15.45 LPA. Over 326 offers were of packages above INR 20 LPA. The list of recruiters for Delhi Technological University placements in 2024 included Salesforce, Samsung, Deloitte, Adobe, and many others.
As per the latest brochure, 2,053 job offers were rolled out by over 350 participating companies during the DTU placements 2024. More than 1,900 students from MTech and other courses were placed and 326 offers were of packages above INR 20 LPA. The highest domestic package and the average package for 2024 placements stood at INR 85.30 LPA and INR 15.45 LPA, respectively.
