Overview

JAC Delhi 2026 Application Form: The Joint Admission Committee has commenced JAC Delhi registration and choice filling process. The application and choice filling process will be open till June 9.

To get admission to any of the participating JAC Delhi 2026 colleges, candidates must complete the counselling process according to the JAC Delhi schedule. The registration process is entirely online and can be accessed at the JAC Delhi counselling official website, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.

The JAC Delhi registration process entails verifying the identity of the candidates, filling the application form, uploading scanned documents, paying the application fee, and printing the submitted form. The registration form printout must be submitted to the reporting institution. JAC Delhi 2026 counselling registration is a must for admission to five institutions: DTU, IGDTUW, DSEU, IIIT-D, and NSUT. How to Fill JAC Delhi 2026 Application Form?

Authentication

Candidates have to authenticate themselves using the following details

  • JEE Main 2026 application number
  • Name as per JEE Main 2026 admit card
  • Date of birth as per JEE Main application

Once the above details match successfully, candidates are asked to enter their email id and mobile number. A verification code is sent to the mobile number and thereafter candidates can enter a password of their choice. Candidates have to use the JEE Main application number and password for logging into the JAC Delhi portal whenever needed.

Filling the application form

Once the authentication is done, candidates have to fill in the application form carefully with all details asked.

Upload the scanned documents

Candidates have to upload the scanned documents in the online application form. The scanned documents must be in the format indicated in the online form.

Pay application fee

Candidates have to pay the counselling cum application fee. The mode of application fee payment is credit card/debit card/net banking.

Printout of the form

Candidates have to take the printout application form. This printout is to be submitted to the reporting institute.

Eligibility To Apply For JAC Delhi Counselling 2026

  1. Candidates must have their name in the CRL of JEE Main 2026.
  2. Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination from any one of the following boards:

    • Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
    • Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
    • Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of CBSE.

Minimum Marks Required for JAC Delhi Admission 2026

The following minimum marks requirements in the qualifying exam are prescribed. Check institute-wise minimum marks requirements below: 

Course and Institute Minimum marks criteria

BE/BTech Course at DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, DSEU and Dual Degree (BTech+MBA) at IGDTUW

A candidate securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and having passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) will be considered eligible for admission to the first semester of BTech/BE course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.
BTech Course at IIIT D

A candidate who has secured 80% or more marks in the aggregate of the best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 80% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination will be considered eligible.

BArch Course at IGDTUW and NSUT

A candidate will be considered eligible for admission to the First Year of the BArch Course if she has secured 50% or more marks in aggregate, has passed Mathematics as a subject in the Senior School Certificate Level Examination and also qualifies for the JEE (Main) Paper-2 exam.

Important Instructions for Filling JAC Delhi 2026 Form

Check important instructions regarding filling the JAC Delhi 2026 form:

  1. Your Name, Date of Birth, and Mother’s/Father’s names must perfectly mirror your JEE Main 2026 Admit Card.
  2. Set a unique password for the JAC portal. Do not share this or your application number with anyone.
  3. Use an active mobile number and email ID, as all crucial OTPs and round alerts will be sent here.
  4. Save all documents (Class 10 Certificate, Class 12 Marksheet, Category Certificates) strictly in the requested format (usually PDF or JPEG) and under the specified file size limits.
  5. Once the JAC Delhi registration is finalised, candidates proceed to the choice filling stage. During this phase, applicants must list their preferred colleges and courses in their specific order of priority.
  6. To improve the likelihood of a successful allotment, applicants are encouraged to submit as many choices as possible.
  7. Provide your own or your parents' active bank account number and IFSC code. This account will be used exclusively for processing seat withdrawal refunds.

Q:   What after JAC Delhi counselling registration?

After JAC Delhi counselling registration is successful then candidates can proceed to choice filling process. As per the eligibility of the candidate, available seat information relating to University/Institute and Programmes will be displayed. Candidate can select choices one by one from list of available choices and can add it to his/her preference of choices. Preference of choices can be rearranged by moving a filled choice up/down in the preference list. Candidate can also remove a choice from his/her preference list.

Q:   Can I register in JAC Delhi counselling directly in the second round without applying in the first round?
A: 
No. New registration does not open before the 2nd round of JAC Delhi Counselling. Fresh registration for JAC Delhi opens before round 3. After Round-2, a two-day window will be opened for fresh registrations for those candidates who could not register during the first application window. All candidates who registered in the first window will get a chance to modify their Preference of Choices in their respective login. (This is a one-time window, no further fresh application or change in Preference of Choices will be considered after this). This is not applicable to the candidates who have frozen their allotted branch in rounds 1 and 2.
Q:   What happens if the payment fails in JAC Delhi registration process?
A: 

If payment fails during JAC Delhi registration, the fee should be paid again for registration without waiting forthe refund. The candidate may inform JAC Delhi by sending an email provided by giving the candidate's details (JEE Main Application Number, Name, Mobile Number, Date, Time of Transaction and Transaction number).

The registration cum counselling fee for JAC Delhi is INR 1500 (+ Bank/BillDesk Transactions Charges).

How to pay the application fee:

The fee can be paid in any of the following ways:

  1. By Credit / Debit Card / Internet Banking through Bill Desk Payment Gateway: Candidates can pay their registration-cum-counselling fee using the BillDesk Payment Gateway facility accessible on this website. Additional Transaction Charges for this mode are given below:
    • Credit / Debit Cards - 1.00% of the transaction amount plus Service Tax as applicable.
    • Internet Banking - INR 10/- plus Service Tax as applicable.
  2. Using SBI Collect (Cash option also available here): Aspirants can pay the registration-cum-counselling fee using the SBI Collect option on the official website. Payment can be made using the net banking/credit /debit card.

Note:

  • After successful fee payment, candidates are required to visit the website www.jacdelhi.nic.in and fill out the online registration form.

Q:   How to register for B.Tech in DTU?
A: 

DTU offers B.Tech programme to regular, working professionals, and lateral entry candidates. Selection to the regular mode of the programme will be done on the basis of JEE Main rank and JAC Delhi counselling. Candidates who have the JEE Main 2025 AIR can register for JAC counselling for admission to the B.Tech courses offered at DTU. Note that there will be no other mode of admission in DTU B.Tech admission. JAC Delhi is a single online counselling window for admission to B.Tech courses offered by DTU. Selection to courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech, and B. Des is made on the basis of national-level exam scores. For MBA, M.Des M.Sc. And Ph.D. DTU conducts its own entrance exams. DTU BBA admissions are made on the basis of Class 12 merits.

Q:   Can I directly take part in JAC spot round counselling?
A: 

Yes, candidates can directly register for the JAC Delhi and JAC Chandigarh spot rounds. However, note that the spot rounds are held as per the availability of vacant seats. JAC spot rounds are held physically. Candidates have to report physically along with payment of the balance fee at the respective University/Institute. A special Spot Round may be conducted by the respective University/Institute, if seats remain vacant after the spot round. JAC Delhi Counselling 2025 is conducted in 4 rounds and one spot round. The counselling process in each round includes registrations, choice filling, seat allotment, payment of the seat acceptance fee and physical reporting at the respective institute.

Q:   I want to get admission to IIIT Delhi through JEE Main. Do I go through with JoSAA counselling or do I have to apply for JAC Delhi?
A: 

Admission to IIIT D B.Tech courses is via the JAC Delhi counselling only. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) do not offer admission via JoSAA counselling. Therefore candidates have to apply for JAC Delhi counselling for B.Tech admission to IIIT D. Joint Admission Counseling Delhi conducts JAC Delhi counselling for admission to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch degree programmes offered by 5 technical universities/institutes of the Government of NCT, Delhi. These institutes/universities include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). .

Q:   I have not yet applied for DTU can I have the opportunity to join JAC Delhi counselling from round-3?

Yes, candidates can register for JAC Delhi before round 3. However, candidates cannot register before round 3. New registration does not open before the 2nd round of JAC Delhi Counselling.
