B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2029

It is good not to know about the classes but you will never get bored on campus.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of students from the chemical engineering branch got on campus placement. The highest package offered is 32 LPA and the lowest package offered is 7 LPA. The average package is 10.5LPA. Bharat Petroleum, Reliance. 65 percent student got internships mostly in Infosys. You can use labs whenever you want.
Infrastructure: Overall college infrastructure is great but the boys hostel for the first year is very bad. The classroom, library, and labs are all fine but Wi-Fi sports are good. You can play anything medical facilities are not good. The classrooms are crazy washrooms are clean and everything is hygienic.
Faculty: Do not worry about attendance just make sure you attend labs because you can learn that from anywhere else. You will find something happening in every corner, someone dancing, someone singing, too many monkeys are there but all friendly until you show them food.
Other: You will find every type of crowd here. Most professors will be friends with lab assistants.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2029

A fun and amazing college for those who work hard.
Placements: The total percentage of students who are placed comes out to be roughly 70%. The highest package goes up to 70 LPA, and the average is around 16 LPA. All the top companies come to the college for recruitment since it is a Tier 1 college. Specifically for my branch, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and many more come to the campus. Internships are abundant for tech branches. However, this is not the case for core roles in the same companies that offer placements. Roles like SWE and PCB Designer are offered.
Infrastructure: All facilities required for teaching are present in the college. Basic amenities like Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, and a big library are present in the college. The 1st-year hostel is not that good, but hostels change every year, so from the 2nd year, the hostels are amazing. In the case of girls, the hostels are top-notch from the 1st year itself. The sports complex has dedicated places for every major sport. There are plenty of shops like Nescafé, Amul, Mother Dairy, juice shops, small cafe points like Raydee and Hims, and there is also Domino's.
Faculty: The curriculum is very old compared to the skills required in the market, but teachers are amazing and very helpful in whatever subjects they teach. The material given is sufficient for skill-building. The semester exams are moderate, with a passing percentage of around 70% in each class.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in Electronics and have been tinkering with Arduino ever since I was a kid. If I improve one thing about my course, it is making the course more catered toward what is required in the industry rather than general knowledge. The number of fests in this college is much more compared to other colleges. The environment is amazing because of good peers, greenery around the campus, and world-class infrastructure.

Extremely good college with all facilities.
Placements: Most of the people prefer core and non-teach jobs, teach jobs are minimal. On-campus placements are somewhat like 50 percent, others get from off-campus. Last year, a student got a teach job of 32 LPA, he had 9+ CGPA. Most of the tech companies don't even allow this branch.
Infrastructure: Some labs are very advanced and have almost all facilities and apparatus, but some even lack basic facilities like fans, and some have broken and outdated apparatus. Talking about hostel, they are good enough. Food is not too good, but it is good enough and healthy.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced, but some of them are too old for teaching. They often teach by conventional methods, which students feel difficult to understand. Other teachers are very good, they are motivated and also motivate students to learn well. They teach well, provide notes, and assignments too.
Other: Fests are widespread; each semester has almost 3-4 fests with excellent artist lineups. College provides scholarships to poor students. Campus has a large sports complex.

If you want to secure a good placement, I would consider DTU as it is one of the tier 1 colleges.
Placements: DTU placement is not that good like IITs for the highest packages, but it’s still good. DTU is not able to provide above 1 CPA, but the average and median packages are still good. Out of 10 students, 6 or 7 take above 20 LPA, it also depends upon the branch.
Infrastructure: I’m not a hosteler, but what I have listened, 1st-year hostels are so good. Can’t say the same for hostel mess, but for freedom, 1st-year hostels are good. You can go outside college up to 10–11 pm and still enter at 3–4 am. Even if you are not able to get a hostel, you can take a PG too.
Faculty: The course instructors are so good. You just have to take mid exams seriously, if you score well in mid semester, you can surely take 8 CGPA easily. The resources are also provided by teachers and seniors. All you have to do is just previous year questions.
Other: From freshers to year-end, there are lots of mini events going on. Not only mini events, the main events are also so good. Both academic and sports fests are also there.

B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.2
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Strong academics and placements with an active campus life.
Placements: I am from DTU, B.Tech in the Mathematics and Computing branch. In recent batches, the placements were around 80-85%, which is pretty good considering the current scenario. The highest package went above 1 crore (international package), while the average package was around 18-20 lakhs.
Infrastructure: DTU provides well-equipped classrooms, which are accompanied by the latest technologies, and we have many labs and all the equipment required. Although the boys' hostel infrastructure may be mediocre and not good at all, it will develop and be taken care of over time. Campus and Wi-Fi, good canteens, sports center, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and some are even supportive to a great extent. The attendance scenario is also good. It is not that strict compared to other colleges. The curriculum, I think, is a bit outdated and needs to be improved, but this issue is prevalent all over India. Semester exams are easy to pass if you study even a day or two before.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing because of my interest in mathematics. This course offers a strong blend of mathematics and computer science. The course also offers strong placements and internships. DTU has an active campus life. There are many fests throughout the year that you will be tired of attending. Many fests such as Engifest, Yuvaan, Sanedo, Diwali Mela, etc.

Faculty is very good and satisfying. Placements, infrastructure, and facilities are good.
Placements: So there are 4 sections in the electronics department and 70 students in each section. According to the current states, almost 70 percent of students got placed with an average package of 15 LPA and 60 LPA, with the highest package. Almost all top MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm, etc., come for recruitment, offering roles for tech as well as non-tech in embedded system VLSI design.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is genuinely good, and the ECE department has all kinds of labs like the Samsung lab, electronics workshop, and the instruments are all in working condition. The girls' hostel is too good, but the boys' hostel is kind of average, and the mess is also average, but the canteen is really good, and there are almost all types of sports you can find in the sports complex.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good at his work, but there are also some teachers who you can say is average but almost all of are very humble and polite and if you only study their notes it will be enough the curriculum is relevant to the course. Don't worry about exams too much, you have to score only 23 out of 60 to pass.
