Candidates must have one language subject and any other four elective subjects in their Class 12th syllabus to fulfill GGSIPU BCom eligibility criteria.
No, CUET-UG is not a mandatory entrance exam for GGSIPU BCom admission. Candidates who did not appear in CUET-UG can also appear in IPU CET which is conducted by GGSIPU itself. During counselling rounds, candidates can be evaluated based on this exam's score as well.
Yes, GGSIPU is a good university. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the 1st university which was established in the year 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. The university is good on placements, scholarships, student's rating.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's annual hostel cost is INR 29,500. Mess and welfare fees are not included in the hostel fees. The fee for the mess is INR 36,000, while the cost of the welfare is INR 3,000. Candidates need to submit three demand drafts: one for hostel fees, one for mess charges, and one for welfare charges. Two hostels are maintained on campus for male students, and two are maintained for female students. There are more than 180 single-seat rooms in each hostel. Basic furnishings such as a cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube lamp, and fan are provided in each room. Mess facilities are available for residents in each hostel. Residents also have access to a common area, a gym, a reading room, and sports facilities. For the hostels, there is a provision for 24-hour water and electrical services.

GGSIPU BCom fees structure is comprised of six major components which are followed by every affiliated institute. GGSIPU BCom fees is same across all institutes and is charged on yearly basis in four unequal installments.
BCom students have only access to state government scholarships for financial aid with GGSIPU fees. Thus, candidates who are unable to secure these scholarships must avail student loans. Check out latest fees details of GGSIPU BCom courses tabulated below:

GGSIPU BCom fees is INR 6.97 Lacs for academic year 2026. This fees is charged in four installments, each with a different cost. All institutes that offer BCom course of GGSIPU charge this fees.
However, they may also charge some fees of their own separately.
GGSIPU BCom fees is refunded to candidates if they choose to cancel their admission. However, these refunds are offered on UGC norm basis. These norms allow candidates to receive a percentage of fees paid in refunds which are based on how early the admission is cancelled.
There are multiple components included in the course total fee, such as tuition fee, registration fee, security charges, etc. Some of the components are one-time chargeable such as security deposit and registration fee. GGSIPU BCom Admission Dates 2026
GGSIPU BCom admission dates are based directly on IPU-CET and subsequent counselling round schedule. Candidates can also track CUET-UG dates as they are scheduled similarly to IPU-CET. Candidates can consider both exam registration as well as counselling round registration deadline as GGSIPU BCom deadline.
Both IPU-CET and CUET-UG are scheduled every year between January and May. Counselling rounds will begin from second week of June. Tabulated below are all important dates related to GGSIPU BCom admission:

Yes, GGSIPU counselling for BCom admissions have begun in academic year 2026. Either a valid score of CUET-UG or IPU-CET will be required for participating in these counselling rounds.
Aspirants need to pay a non-refundable application fees of INR 2,500 for UG and PG courses at GGSIPU. Candidates can pay the fees via any of the online payment modes.
No, GGSIPU has closed IPU-CET for 2026 BCom admissions. At this point, GGSIPU BCom admission has progressed to counselling rounds. However, candidates who have a valid CUET-UG score can also apply.
If no score of these exams is available, candidates must wait for next year's admission.
Admission to most of the GGSIPU courses is done through entrance tests. However, direct admissions are available through the Management quota. Only some colleges under the GGSIPU accept direct admissions through Management quota.
There is also spot/sliding round admissions available for leftover seats after all CET counselling rounds are over. The colleges fill these seats via walk-in or direct applications.
GGSIPU BTech Admission Process 2026
During GGSIPU BCom course admission, candidates will be evaluated based on their scores in either IPU-CET or CUET-UG. Candidates will be required to register for both entrance exam as well as counselling round separately during GGSIPU BCom application process.
However, IPU-CET registration will not require candidates to register for counselling separately. Check out below steps for an explanation of BCom admission process:
STEP 1: GGSIPU BCom Application Process
- Go to GGSIPU's website.
- Scroll down to Candidate Activity board and click on "IPU Registration".
- On newly opened portal, register and login with generated credentials.
- Choose BCom course and complete application form.
- Attach copies of all documents requested.
- Pay GGSIPU BCom application fees.
STEP 2: Selection of Candidates
Once counselling rounds begin, candidates will be asked to fill their choice of institute. After choice filling is over, candidates will allotted seats based on either IPU-CET or CUET-UG results. There will be three rounds of counselling where, selected candidates are given an allottment letter. This letter must be presented at the allotted campus.
STEP 3: Confirmation of Admission
After allottment letter has been verified, candidates will be asked to pay BCom admission fees for confirmation of GGSIPU admission. Admission fees at GGSIPU might be first installment of total course fees. Once this fees is paid, document verification process will begin.
